Chapter 6- Marriage?

Louis's POV
I went home later that day thinking about Clem. I feel bad for her, I wanna help but I just dont know how. I went up to my room and sat on my bed.
"Do I like her?" I thought to myself
Louis closed his eyes and started to drift off

"What have you done?!"
"Like I said before,You get to be happy or you get to be rich. You dont get to be both"

I woke up in a sweat looking around
"No.. I cant.. I have to stay away from her... For her.."
Then A maid knocked on his door
"Sir, Your father is calling for you"
"Im coming.." I replied

I went into my fathers office
"Yes father?"
"Louis. We need to talk"
"About..?"
"Your arranged marriage"
"WHAT?!"
"Listen. When you finish Senior high school your gonna get married"
"To who?!"
"My Secretary's daughter. Lila
"B-But I dont even know her!"
"Then you'll get to know her. Next week you two will meet up.
"I..."
"Thats all, you can go now"
I silently went back to my room. I didnt even bother to fight it.

When i went back I closed the door and threw a glass across the room
"This cant be happening.."
I opened my phone and texted

    Clementine

Louis:Hey Clem

Clem:Hey Louis! Whats up?

I wanted to tell her everything but I couldnt..

Louis:Oh nothing much, just bored

Clem:Same here

Louis:How are you feeling?

Clem:better. I know Minnie didnt mean it but I just have a breakdown when someone mentions it

Louis:Hey Clem...Weird question

Clem:?

Louis:Did you know anyone named Lila In GNES?

Clem:first, yes I did. Second, how did you know I went to GNES?

Louis:Minnie and sophie told me

Clem:well ok then. Why did you ask?

I was actually panicking because i didnt know what to reply

Louis:Oh just made me think of her when Sophie told me you went to GNES

Clem:k

I sighed at relief that she didnt think anything suspicious but then..

Clem:Why is she your girlfriend or something?

I didnt know what to answer so i just told her

Louis:No just a friend. Why Clem u jealous?

Clem:nah i feel bad for the girl if she was your gf

Louis:ouch. Savage

Me and Clem texted for a good 2 hours and got to know each other better. Like if we had any pets, about our life and such

Clem: I gotta go. My phone is almost dead

Louis:Okay, cya

I really enjoyed talking to her and hell, might have developed some feelings for her but I know what my father would do. "You get to be happy ir you get to be rich" that horse shit.

I cant believe he would set me up with another girl which I barely even know.  I might even hate her. But thats the kind of crap he does for money.. I went to bed not long after. thinking about Clem.. Does she like me? Even if she does..I couldnt..

Clementine's POV

I just finished chatting with Louis, He's a really nice guy.. I might have a crush on him but.. I should stop thinking about it... Theres no chance of me and him.. Hell he's probably dating a nice girl, better than me.

That Lila girl he metioned.. One of the people who stayed by my side when everything went downhill.. But I guess her mother is strict..She privately told me her mom doesn't want her to talk to me..And we stopped talking..Maybe she's dating Louis.. Maybe its a secret. Who knows? I went to sleep with all these thoughts in my head..

oof okay this was an interesting story that came out.. writing the few next chapters is gonna be fun :)) And sorry if its short. I dont really have much inspiration, motivation and shit but thanks for reading ❤❤
