Chapter 11- I'll be here

Clementine's POV

Its been 2 months since school has started. Its a weekend im im just laying on my bed.. Staring at the ceiling.. I dont know what to think of Lila anymore.. Ugh just get over it Clementine! Dont be jealous of Lila..You should be happy for her...
I then got a text from Louis

   Louis

Louis:Hey Clem um...

Clem:hey lou. Something wrong?

Louis:I need some help

Clem:what happened?

Louis:look i cant explain right now but please..I need you to come get me..

Clem:I'll be there in 10

I closed my phone and got ready. What happened? Did something really bad happen?

I went down and already asked Lee for his car keys. I drove over to where Louis lives. I waited awhile when he came in and collapsed in the passenger seat with a bag
"Louis? What happened?" I asked
I could see a few tears from his eyes
I was suprised but I really badly wanted to help him. I drove away. We drove to the park
"Come on..Lets calm you down" I said while grabbing Louis's Hand

We sat at a bench while he breathes and calms down
"I-Im okay now.." he said while looking at the ground
"Ready to tell me what happened?" I asked
He sighed
"Earlier today I told my dad..I didnt want to marry Lila...But..He was fucking drunk. He started to chase me..He tried to throw a bottle at me.. I went into my room and locked the door. He started screaming things at me..Things that you aren't supposed to say to your own child.."
"Jesus.." I said shocked "Im so sorry Louis"
"Could I...Could I maybe stay at your place for awhile?" He asked
"I'll ask lee"

I called Lee and told him everything. He agreed to help Louis.

"Thanks Lee" I hung up
I faced back to Louis
"You can stay with us for awhile"
He hugged me tight
"Thank you so much.."

A few hours later

Louis's POV

"Hey Louis. Clementine told me everything. You're welcome to stay as long as you like" Mr. Everett said to me
"Thank you so much Mr. Everett"
"You can call me Lee" he smiled
"Come on Louis I'll show you to the guest room" Clem told me
I followed Clem to her guest room
She opened the door and we saw AJ
"What are you doing in here kiddo?"
"Im just drawing" AJ replied
Then he saw me
"Louis!" He ran up and hugged me
"Hey there little dude" I said with a smile
"What are you doing here?"
"Ill be staying here for a bit"
"Yay!" He jumped and smiles
Clem and I looked at each other and laughed
"Careful he might trick you int watching a marathon of disco broccoli" She said while giggling
They both left the room and I collapsed onto the bed
Clem is so sweet for letting me stay here..If she weren't there I wouldve already died..
I decided to unpack my stuff. I opened a drawer and found a picture book I looked inside and saw a picture of Clem and Lila. They looked to be 11 or something.

I flipped through the book some more and saw a picture of a girl with glasses, A boy with a blue jacket and Clem in a short dress with long sleeves, and long curly hair. She looks super cute and really happy..

Then I heard the door open

"Louis lets watch disco broccoli!' AJ said excitedly
"Okay im comming dude" I smiled and went to watch with AJ
