Chapter 8-Broken Part 2

Louis's POV

I looked around for Clem and saw her sitting by herself.. I sat down next to her
"Hey Clem, Can we talk?" I told her
She looked at me and looked away
"Clem please, we need to talk"
"What is there to talk about?" She rolled her eyes
"Look, Clem you might think that I hate you. I dont.."
"Yeah, Sure whatever.."
"I never wanted this..I had to stay away from you..At least for a week.."
"Uh huh... And your reason?"
"My dad is really strict...He told me im getting married to someone. He's a very rich man who always gets what he wants.. and he said Im getting married after highschool.."
I saw her eyes turn wide
She looked at me.
"W-What..?"
"I was afriad that if my father saw you with me he would think that...Yeah..He's changed ever since my mother left. I just need to meet the girl im gonna marry and we can hang out again"
It was silent for a few seconds
"I understand if you dont wanna talk" I stood up to leave.
Then she hugged me
"I-Im so sorry..." She cried in my arms "Im sorry for being such an idiot.."
I hugged her back
"Its alright Clem.. we're still friends.."...It hurt to say that as I wanted to be more than friends with her..

Marlon's POV

Everyome was watching Clem and Louis from a far.. Heck Sophie even cried
"Thaats so sweeeet!!" She said while sobbing in Minerva's arms
"Man I feel bad for Louis." Violet said "his dad can be such a pain in the ass"
"We'll be here for him" Mitch said

Narrator's POV

Its now after school, Lee had to leave early because Apparently AJ had gotten in trouble. Louis decided to walk Clem home

Clementine's POV

We were walking to my house in silence when I said "Im sorry Louis.."
"Its okay Clem. Dont worry.. Its not your fault."
"So..Who is this girl you're meeting?"
"Lila, the girl I asked you about"
"You'll like her,Shes a nice person."
Louis sighed
"At least shes nice.."
"Why? You dont wanna marry her? Other than your still young, but uh..Why not?" I asked
"I wanted to date someone else..Shes a really beautiful and nice girl" he had a bright smile on his face
"Whos the lucky lady?"
"Nope not telling" he teased
"Aw fine. But I hope that you two will at least get along.."
"I'll try I guess.."
"Well We're here..See you next week Lou"
"See ya Clem.."
He hugged me before he left
I smiled and went up to my apartment

"Dont do that again AJ" Lee scolded AJ
"Okay..Im sorry.." AJ said
"What happened here?" I asked
"AJ bit his teacher." Carley said
"I didnt mean to. She snuck up behind me"
"Just dont do it again okay AJ?" Lee said
AJ nodded
"I think his teacher is one of your friends mothers.. Ruby's mother I think?" He told me
"Yeah she is" I said to Lee

I went to my room,changed and sat on my bed thinking..
"Of course..I never win in the end..." I thought "But... Lila and Louis seem like a good match. They're both funny and sweet.." I smiled while thinking.. "Its for the best..I'll get over it soon..I knew liking Louis was a bad idea..I knew I'd end up heartbroken...Again.." I did my homework,ate dinner and went to sleep thinking about him..
