Chapter 35: Touchy

I wake up and feel Jonah still holding me.
I purr, but the pain between my legs is unbearable right now.
"Jonah." I whimper into his neck and he picks me up
He pours the bath and then slips me in
"Thank you."I mumble
"Of course." He chuckles
"I don't mean for this, I mean for everything. Thanks for not treating me like some fragile doll, for accepting that sex is a touchy thin with me, for accepting me even though I wasn't a virgin, for putting up with my stupid nightmares. I guess...for loving me." I say and he kisses me
"Mate." He says and I smile
"I should be thanking you, for putting up with me! I'm sure it must be terrifying knowing that my wolf might take over and do just what those bastards did...knowing I might hurt you?" He frowns and I kiss him again
"Eli, you know I don't fear that happening. I know I'm older now, stronger now, I could probably out run you." She says and I nod
"I hope so, for both our sakes."
He wraps a towel around me and I sit in his lap happily
His phone rings from the other room so he picks me up, sets me on the bed and answers
"Hello?"
"I see. I'll keep an eye out."
"He's a what?"
I see him growl, his eyes turning black.
"Baby? Calm down." I whimper and grab the phone.
I hang up and put it down.
"Jonah, come here." I say and he growls
I sigh and bring me to him.
He breathes in and scent and holds me tight
"Mine." He growls
"I know, what happened?" I frown, did someone die? For all I know the whole pack died.
"An Alpha Rogue, name of Karten, is serial rapist and is searching for Harper and Hailey." He says and my gut wrenches.
I feel myself go pale and rush to the bathroom.
I throw up and he quickly follows, pulling my hair back
"Princess, he hasn't been seen anywhere on our side. Only in the far away Aer pack. Don't worry." I can't stop shaking.
I sigh and and he picks me up
"Don't go fainting on me." He says and I smile weakly
"I dunno, I might." I say honestly
"In that case I'm staying home." He smirks and I sigh
"Thank you. I really don't feel good right now." I say and stumble on my feet, he grabs me
"Hey, Eden look at me." He says and I do so
"You're swaying, can you see well?"
"It's a bit fuzzy." I frown and he lays me down.
"Okay, let's get you rested."
I kiss him and he growls happily
"Do you still hurt?" He asks and I blush
"How could I not?" I whisper in his ear and he smirks
"Don't make me do something that might make you more sore." He smirks and I blush harder
"How tempting, but don't you having meetings today?"
"Later." He says and I nod
I lean on him and yawn
"You really know how to tire me out." I say and he chuckles
He wraps his arms around me and I bite my lip
What if that does it? What if I'm pregnant now?
I shake it off, don't get all excited now.
"You're heart is beating so fast, what's up?"
"Nothing, just thinking..."
"About?" He pries
"Uhm...well..." I blush and he cocks his head
"Pups I guess." I say and he smiles
"Mmm. True." He grins and I giggle
"Maybe you should do that when we get home tonight, Hmm?" He says and I nod
"Definitely, but you need to get to work." I say and he frowns
"No I'm staying here with you till later." He rubs my back and I sigh
"Okay, but I need to keep my mind off pregnancy." I say
"Sure thing."

He should be back any minute...
I just wanna go home and take the damn test.
He storms in, growling and I frown
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, shut up. Let's go," He snarls
I bite my lip and follow him hesitantly
I slip into the car and a sharp pain arrives between my legs.
I yelp and he growls
"Can it."
I hold in a whimper and he begins to drive recklessly.
"Jonah." I frown and he doesn listen
"Jonah calm down are you'll kill both of us."
He still refuses to care and even drives faster
"Jonah slow down or both of us, possibly THREE of us will die." I snap and he slows down.
I breathe out and look out the window, avoiding his gaze.
I can tell his wolf is in a level of control he's not comfortable with, but he can't just go around killing us.
"Jonah please calm down, take control. You need to calm down." I plead and he growls, clearly in pain.
"Cmon, please." I sniff and the car stops.
Jonah gasps out, and I lurch forward.
"Jonah." I blurt and he groans
"I'm fine Eden." He groans
"What did I tell you about that damn word?" I huff and he whimpers
My eyes widen...he doesn't whimper.
I force him not to drive.
"You don't have a licence Eden." He rasps and I frown
"I don't care,I know how to drive."
I get us home and I help him inside.
"What happened?" I ask and he frowns
"I'll tell you in a minute, I need to calm down." He says and I nod
"Sure."
I walk upstairs and look at the bathroom, I cross my arms.
I bite my lip.

I walk in and take the test.
