Chapter 30: True Love

We sit down and I try to calm my breathing
"Eden, what's wrong?" He huffs
"N-nothing?" I breathe, hyperventilating
"Eden." He snaps and I wince
"Just a bad m-memory." I breathe and he frowns
"Explain."
"My dad, h-he used to get absorbed in his work a-and then he would get s-sick. Like really sick. I don't want that to happen again." I say and he holds me close
"I'm not going to get sick Eden. I worked 24/7 when you weren't here. I wasn't great but I wasn't dying." He reassures me and I whimper
"Okay..." I wheeze and he rubs my back
"Breathe Eden." He says and I nod
"I'm sorry." I groan and he shakes his head
"Don't be. You're just looking out for me." He says and I nod
"Exactly." I smile and he holds me close to his heartbeat
I moan softly and he bites his lip
"Jonah?" I sigh and he nods
"Yes?"
"Maybe...maybe we could talk about...about..." I stutter and he rubs my back
"Go on." He says
"Something that happened. When I was on the run."
Eden Past PoV:
It burns, god it burns so much.
They kick my legs, forcing me to the office and I can barely see.
I think I'm going to pass out.
I feel my vision fade and a sharp kick to my back wakes me.
Jonah PoV:
As she explains the pain my warriors had her in, tears deep down her face.
"Eden. Why are you mentioning this now?"
"Because the scars aren't fading and it's making me feel ugly." She cries and I hold her
"It's okay baby. You're beautiful." I reassure her
"No I'm not." She sobs and I kiss her
I lay her down and make her look me in the eye
"Eden, you are my mate, you are beautiful, you are smart, I want you to carry my pups. What don't you understand? I love you." I smile and she kisses me
"You really want me to carry your pups?" She blushes
"Of course." I smile and she smiles back
I can see the joy on her face at the idea.
She smiles and I rub her cheek
"You like the idea of that don't you?" I smile and she blushes
"Mmhmm, I do. I love you Jonah." She smiles and I smile back
"I love you too." I chuckle and she pulls me close
"Goodnight." She yawns
"Goodnight Princess." I kiss her cheek and she grins
Eden PoV:
"You ready?" He smiles and I bite my lip
"Yeah, yeah I am,"
He pushes into me and I grab him
"Jonah," I moan
We move slowly, climaxing isn't the goal anymore,

I sit up and smile, that's a whole different type of sexy dream.
I smile happily and see him.
When did he take his shirt off?
I blush and he keeps hi arm wrapped around me
He looks at me
"Morning princess." He smiles and I grin
"I heard you moan." He smirks and I blush
"I don't mind." I giggle and he cocks hisnhead
"And why's that?"
"It was different." I smile to myself
"Are you thinking about pups again?" He chuckles and I grin
"Of course." He smirks and I tuck my hair behind my ear
"What if the pup has hetero chromia too? Or my hair? Would they get bullied? I wouldn't want that." I bite my lip and he pulls me close.
"They'd be just as beautiful as you." He smiles and I roll my eyes
"Jonah." I say, squeezing my thighs together
"Mmhmm?" He smirks and kisses me
I cling to him and he nibbles my ear, then my neck.
I moan, loudly.
He pulls his shirt off me and I kiss him.
"Jonah." I moan and he growls
I bite my lip, I love his damn growl
"Are we doing this?" He asks between kisses and I bite my lip
"I think we are." I moan and kiss him
I sink into him and he flips me underneath him.
He spreads my legs and I feel my breath hitch in my throat.
"I'm scared, why am I scared," I whimper and he kisses me
"It's scary, we're going to start a family Eden." He chuckles
I kiss him and pull him close
I'm terrified to be honest but, with him, it doesn't feel so scary.
"Ready?" He asks, whispering in my ear
"Ready." I whisper back and he pushes into me.

Jonah PoV:
I rub her cheek as she sleeps and she snuggles closer to me.
Starting a family terrifies me too.
What if they can't control their wolf? What do they end up hurting someone like I did?
I shudder, no don't think about.
I can't believe she's letting you touch her like that.
I growl at him and hold her close

I breathe in her scent as it mixes with mine.
"Jonah." She mumbles and yawns
"Morning." I smile and she winces
She whimpers and I cock my head, scanning her body for harm
"Sore." She mumbles and I chuckle
"Need a hand?" I ask and she shakes her head
"No, you need to go to work."
"I can go whenever I want." I smirk and she giggles
Her hair is a huge mess, but it just makes her come across like a pup.
I pick her up and bring her to the bathroom, placing her in the bath after it fills.
She kisses me
"Thank you." She mumbles
"Of course."
I tell her I'll be right back as my mother calls me.
"Hello?"
"Jonah! There's a man here...he's demanding to know where you are." She sounds terrified.
"I'm at home, tell him. I've been expecting this."
