I don't want to. I want to curl up in a ball and sob.
I don't wanna bring it up because I don't know how, I don't like the look of pity in their eyes.
"Ewan, I was raped." I says, with confidence I've never felt about this before.
I see his face fall into shock
His mind is going one hundred miles an hour and I feel the wind blow my hair
It's getting cold out.
"You were..." he breathes and swallows hard
He simply surges forward and hugs me
I breathe in his scent.
Like mint and lavender.
"By who?" He asks and I sigh
I tell him the whole story, from the day it happened to meeting Jonah.
He listens eagerly to every word and I sigh
"That's a lot of information."
"I'm sorry." I frown and he frowns
"Don't be. I love you Eden, I'm sorry if that's weird. I'm You're brother right? I'm supposed to protect you and..." he rubs his head
I hug him and he smiles
"Look, I'm going back to Charlie's soon. Aenea said she was okay to meet them. Would you want me to tell Gio?" He asks and I smile
"Would you? He may hate me but I'm still his sister." I sigh and he nods
"I gotta get home, bye sis." He smiles
"Bye." I hug him tight and walk back to the car
It's getting dark out and I rest a hand on my belly
I look at Jonah and he smiles weakly
I breathe out
"Hey, don't cry."
I hug him, I didn't realise I missed his voice so much
He kisses my head
"Eden." He breathes and I purr
We get home and I yawn
"Go to bed angel." He rubs my back and I grip his hand
"Not without you."
"Princess I have work to do..." He bites his lip
"Just till I fall asleep." I plead and he nods
"Alright." He chuckles
He rubs my belly gently and I yawn
Jonah PoV:
Oh goddess save me.
Her nightmares are gone but...let's just say she's reach the part of her pregnancy where she starts to get those dreams.
I can't sleep.
Her soft moaning is driving me crazy
Reminds me of one of our first days together, I pinned her down.
Goddess I was mental.
I've learned to control myself a little better.
"Jonah." She moans and I wince
Is she trying to kill me!
Just wake her up...
I shake my head, I'm sitting in the corner of the room.
I sink further into the chair
"Oh fuck..." she pants and I storm out the room.
I look in the mirror and see how red my face is
I only blush further and duck out.
I lay on the couch and rub my head
She's going to kill me, she's actually going to be the death of me.
I forgot sleeping without her is also hell.
I get up and see it's only six am. I'll wake up Eden in two hours or so.
I could get some work done.
By the time I've finished my morning work I slip upstairs and see Eden fast asleep, the sun just peeking into the room.
I rub her cheek
"Princess." I coax and her eyes flutter open
"Wha?" She mumbles
"You gotta get up now angel." I say and she yawns
She gets up and I let her shower while I wait downstairs.
I get all giddy waiting for her.
I smell her and I turn around
She smiles at me and I grin
"Morning angel." I smile and she pouts
"Why did you run off last night?" I frown
"I was working and didn't wanna wake you up." I lie and she huffs
She walks into the kitchen and grabs an apple
She yawns and I kiss her head
She's noticably showing now, but not giant.
She looks down
"I've been having weird dreams again, I'm sorry." She blushes
"Don't be, you can't help it." I smile and she yawns
Eden PoV:
I wish this pregnancy would stop making me so horny.
I'm not sure how comfy I am with sex while I'm pregnant but if I'm gonna, I don't wanna be a beached whale.
I wish my dad could know about the baby, he'd be so happy!
Ewan is super protective around me now, to be honest I don't mind it.
I get the mail and see a letter for me.
"From Gio." I blurt out and Jonah looks up
"Did you say Gio?" He scowls
"I did..."
I open the letter and read it, I then read it again. And again.
Dear Eden,
Ewan told me everything, about those bastards.
I'm so so sorry. I was under some delusion that you had some perfect life off with our parents and I didn't want to know anything else. I am truly sorry.
I have no reason to hate you anymore.
At the end of the day you're my little sister right?
Ewan told me you're pregnant.
That makes me an uncle right?
You remember Noya? She's my mate. I'm sorry I spent so much time without you.

I smile and pass him the letter
He reads it twice and breathes out
"You know I don't trust him."
"Yeah I know." I smile and he wraps an arm around me
I look at him and bite my lip
"I wanna visit them." I say and he frowns
"Princess. You're pregnant...it's not safe."
"It'll be even more unsafe for me to leave a newborn baby." I pout
"I can't go." He muses and I nod
"I know...but I could bring Jake with me!" I say and he bites his lip
"Okay, but promise me to be safe. If you feel weird at all, come home, don't stress out and-"
"I'll be okay." I smile and he rubs his neck
"You really need a phone." He sighs
"I have a burner somewhere," I say and he smirks
"Good enough. When would you go?"
"Well I need to write to him first
"Of course."
"Just be safe." He says and I smile
"I will Papa wolf." I wink
