"Has anyone seen my daughter?"

Ben shook his head. "No... Sorry, Amythest."

I sighed, wanting to know where my daughter was. It's been a while since we've arrived at the mansion and I wanted to check in on her. I guess that's what some may call motherly instincts.

"It's ok Ben, thanks anyway."

I decided to keep looking. The mansion may be big, but I don't think she could have gone very far. I was determined to find my daughter; even if that meant playing a little game of Hide and Seek to do it.

"Susie? Where are you sweetie?" I called out, "Are you hiding on me?"

Ben chuckled, "If she is hiding, do you really think she would call out?"

I shook my head, "No, but it was worth a shot." I laughed.

I left the room, deciding to look elsewhere. I checked the living room where the Creepypastas usually watched TV and out in the yard where Sally and Lazari sometimes played; but there were still no signs of Susie. Either, she was really good at hiding, or I was really poor at seeking.

"Susie?" I called out again, "Where are you?"

"I'm here." Susie called back.

I smiled as I made my way toward her, hugging her gently.

"There you are Susie, I was looking all over for you."

Susie hugged me back, "Sorry mom."

"It's alright, no harm done." I began, "How are you liking it here Susie?"

"It's ok." Susie said softly.

I kissed her forehead and gave her a small smile. I was happy to hear that she was liking it here; I know how hard it can be to adjust to a new place.

"That's good." I said.

Just as I was having my lovely conversation with my daughter, Masky, the head proxy made his way towards us. Susie and I stopped and looked over in his direction, wondering if there was something that he needed. I tilted my head, looking at him curiously.

"Hey, it's nice that you're spending time with your daughter and all; but have you checked the schedule yet. You've got work to do."

Party pooper... I thought

I shook my head, "No, not yet. I was just about to tell Susie to go and play with the girls. I'll check it out now."

"The schedules on the fridge." Said Masky, "Your name got added last night."

I nodded, "Thanks." I turned my attention back to Susie, "Go along and play now; I'll catch up with you later."

Susie nodded, "Alright."

I headed for the kitchen; stopping in front of the fridge as my eyes spotted the schedule. Sure enough, just as Masky said, my name was added; the schedule certainly did appear to be longer since I first arrived at the mansion.

"Amythest Wolfe... Ah here I am."

I placed my finger on my name and followed it across the line to see what the boss had in store for me. It felt good to finally be able to see if I had been given a task.

"Finally, a task." I said aloud, "and a rather intriguing one too."

"What do you have to do?" Asked Toby, popping his head into the kitchen.

I looked over and smiled.

"Apparently there's been a few reports of kidnappings and it's my job to kill the bastards that took them." I said. "Oh... and I have to make sure that Toby doesn't set fire to the toaster again."
