April Fool's Part 2

As the day went on, I made my way upstairs to visit Kat the Pyro. Other than the brief moment I'd seen her when Ben Drowned had a chair super glued to his bottom; I've barely seen her.

I took a deep breath before beginning my climb up to the fourth floor. That's the only downfall about this place; it lacks a secondary method of getting up and down these staircases. It would have been nice to have an elevator at our disposal but I guess that would have been a little too much to ask for around this place and if there is one... I have yet to come across it.

Upon getting to the fourth floor, I made my way towards Kat's room, pausing for a brief breath before knocking on the decorated wooden door. I open the door a crack, just enough for me to speak into.

"Hey."

"Hi there Kat," I said, "What are you up to today?" I paused before continuing on, "Any missions today?"

I peered inside Kat's room and watched as she shook her head.

"No," said Kat, "Everyone has the day off today."

I smiled, finally a chance for Kat and I to do something together. I mean, yeah, I was with her when she lit Ben Drowned on fire to get the chair off his butt; but it wasn't the same as actually pulling a prank on someone together.

"Want to go play some pranks?" I asked.

Kat looked up at me, meeting my gaze. "On who?"

I grinned before speaking quietly, my voice inquisitive. "Hoodie?"

The two of us stopped for a moment as my words trailed off; the room falling into a silence before Kat the Pyro spoke.

"Ok," She said, nodding in agreement, "But, what should we even do to him?"

I carefully pulled out a sign that I had stuck into my pocket earlier that morning. Kat watched as I unfolded the paper and held it out for her to read.

Kick Me

Kat laughed, "Ok."

I motioned for Kat to follow me as I pushed her door opened. She nodded and came out into the hallway; closing her bedroom door behind her before walking beside me back down the hallway and down the four flights of stairs down to the main floor of the mansion.

I paused looking around our immediate area, scanning it for any signs of Hoodie. Just when I thought I'd be out of luck, my eyes spotted him, coming back in from outside.

I turned to Kat, "Can you distract him?"

Kat nodded and quickly made her way over to him as I followed closely behind. She wrapped her arms around him, embracing him in a friendly hug. Hoodie hugged her back, his back turned to me. I smirked as I put the side on Hoodie's back as Kat hugged him tightly.

Kat laughed softly but Hoodie paid no attention as the hug finally came to an end and the two of them took a couple steps back.

"Thanks for the hug." Said Hoodie, "What's the occasion?"

Kat shook her head, "No reason at all; just felt like giving you a hug." She said, "Why? Is that suddenly a crime?"

The three of us laughed as Hoodie shook his head.

"No, it's n-not a crime." He said softly. "J-Just out of the b-blue is all."

I shrugged and waved good-bye as we parted ways. Kat following close behind me as Hoodie turned towards the opposite direction. I waited a few moments before turning back around to face myself in Hoodie's direction.
