Wish you were gay

Billies pov

"Let me get you some clothes, you'll definitely be more comfy in mine than in what you're wearing", I said while making my way to my wardrobe.

"No please it's ok, you've already done enough", she tried to argue.

I ignored her comment and looked for the softest shirt and shorts I could find. Then I went into my sock drawer and took out a pair of cozy fluffy socks so that she didn't have to walk on the cold floor.

"Here, bathroom is just on your left", I spoke softly. I could tell she hesitated but in the end she took the clothes and gave me a shy smile before going into the bathroom and changing.

While she was in there I threw myself onto my bed and began scrolling through Instagram, liking a few posts and replying to fans comments. I didnt notice she had already came out and when I finally lifted my head she was standing awkwardly in one spot, as if she didnt know what to do with herself.

My eyes widened as I took in her appearance. She looked adorable wearing my clothes and they laid on her perfectly.

"Are they comfy?", I gestured to the clothes and she nodded.

"You can take my bed, I'll be on the couch if you need me", I said while getting up from my bed and gesturing for her to get in. She slowly moved towards the large bed and crawled under the covers where she seemed to sink in instantly as soon as she laid down.

I smiled at her and then made my way to my bedroom door, ready to finally get some sleep after everything that happened.

"Billie?", Autumn whispered from my bed and I turned to face her, "please stay." She whispered as she played with her fingers nervously.

I hesitated for a moment but then made my way towards the bed and crawled in under the covers beside her.

"Thank you", she said as she laid on her side to face me.

"Anytime", I said happily.

I then felt the mattress move as she scooted her body closer to mine, resting her head on my shoulder. I stiffened slightly under her touch but shook it off quickly as I knew what she went through and she needed all the comfort she could get.

A few minutes went by and all I could hear was her steady breathing and soft snores that filled the room. I wasn't at all tired but I lay there as still as I could so that she could get the best night possible.

Autumn's pov

"I just wanna make you feel okay", I heard whispers coming from somewhere, and quickly realised it was Billie as I remembered I was in her room.

"But all you do is look the other way,
I cant tell you how much I wish I didnt wanna stay", I heard her sing softly and smiled when I realised I hadn't heard this song before. Was she making something new?

"I just kinda wish you were gay", my heart skipped a beat when she said this. Was she gay? No that's stupid, she always writes in characters. "Why am I even getting worked up over this? I dont even like her." I thought to myself and shook the thought from my head.

I made sure to not startle her or make her embarrassed, so I just turned slowly in the bed so that my back was facing her and tried to get back to sleep. Before I knew it, my eyes became heavy again and I soon drifted off to sleep while hugging Billies extremely soft covers.

It was slowly getting light outside and I could feel my body beginning to naturally wake up. I often woke up around the same time in the morning due to my natural body clock which I was grateful for, this meant I wasnt waking up late or at ridiculous hours every day like some people.
