Seth's POV
Becky and my plan is simple, we'd with the help of others filled up 5 baskets with water balloons and gave each other strategic positions waiting for my signal to strike. We'd somehow made it possible to deflect all possible suspicion though that wasn't important because Roman and Charlotte were too engrossed in their conversation to notice any dodgey behavior.
After a while, Roman leaned towards Charlotte and it looked like they were about to kiss, that's when I yelled
"attack! "
Becky and I threw our own balloons, which landed accurately on the targets which were of course Charlotte and Roman.
We both burst into laughter but it was short lived because we realized that every other person hadn't thrown their balloons, instead they were facing us, all with bemused looks on their faces.
In seconds balloons were being thrown at us from every direction. We tried taking cover but to no avail. Even Roman and Charlotte joined in!
Soon we were drenched and I had water in parts of me Better kept confidential.
When we try to make a run for it, I accidentally trip because my trouser weighs alot more than I remember. In the process of falling I land on Becky accidentally.
In that period of our being on the floor, Roman and Charlotte rush towards us and as I feared handcuff us together, laughing hysterically.
I'm totally speechless but at least there was no more water balloons.
" Ha ha... so funny, you win now please take off this cuffs. " I beg not finding this funny. AT. ALL.
" Chillax bro...at least you'll always be by her side just like you wanted" Roman says mockingly, pretending to lower his voice but everyone in close range can hear him.
I immediately turn red and steal a glance at Becky who pretends she didn't hear him.
" Guess we're stuck like this, huh?" Becky says trying to make light of the situation, but as usual I saw through it to the secret panic in her voice. Besides her accent became pronounced when she talked about anything she felt strongly about, just like now.
" You know what I think I'll just take this off... you guys probably wouldn't last an hour together in those" Charlotte says daringly acting like she is going to unlock the cuffs. I know that glint all too well, she is playing at something. One... two...
" Whoa whoa whoa " Becky begins right in time. One thing I love... sorry like about her is she's very courageous and would accept any challenge, but now?
" Is that a challenge? " She asks.
" No I'm already sure you can't Last a minute in these" Charlotte says referring to the cuffs.
" Oh yes we can" Becky says accepting the challenge. From the eagerness in her voice I know refusing is a lost cause.
" Well then prove it" Nikki says daringly, obviously enjoying the drama.
Worst part is I haven't even voiced my own opinion!
" Yes we will! " Becky says confidently.
" Right Seth? " Becky asks finally remembering me. ( Eye roll)
I want to say no but when I see the hope in Becky's eye I hear myself saying " sure we can" as soon as I say it I feel like kicking myself in the balls but then Becky smiles at me and I feel like I'm Superman.
I somehow manage to get some confidence from Becky and begin to think it wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.
" One week together and if we pull it off you'll pay both of us a thousand bucks each" Becky says referring to Charlotte.
" Sure... but if you don't, you'll both pay me a thousand bucks each" Charlotte says pompously.
" Deal " Becky and I chorus confidently.
" Let the game begin! " Roman says excitedly and everyone lets out hoots and catcalls.
This can't be that bad can it?

Hello guys, I'm very sad and heartbroken to announce that this might be the last time I'll update this book for at least three weeks.
I have exams that are very important and the date got moved, so I don't have as much time as I thought I did and I need to concentrate in other to pass. Once again I'm so sorry, I'm equally heartbroken 💔. I might even Sue my school 😠
I promise to make it up to you guys with back to back updates as frequently as possible when I'm through with my exams which would probably be in the middle of July.
