I have an advice for y'all, whenever you read my stories expect the unexpected.
Narrator's POV
Becky and Seth were in the garden just enjoying each others company when Becky got a call from the police that changed their plans for the day.
The call was the police telling her that Roman and Charlotte had been in a fatal car accident. Her heart stopped.
Seth noticed the change in Becky's face and was about to ask her what was wrong when his phone rang. He got the same message as Becky and he felt something in him break as the phone slipped out of his hands and unto the floor, shattering.
It was the latest version of iPhone but he couldn't care less . " It's okay" he whisphers soothingly to Becky but this just makes her break down.
" It's okay Seth?" She asks rhetorically, keeping her cool.
"Charlotte is the closest thing I have to family, she's been in a fatal accident that might've taken her life as the officer said and it's okay? Roman your brother and my friend has been in an accident and it's okay? " She asks hitting him over and over again with fists folded to his chest.
" If anything happens to her I'll have nothing, no one, no reason to live" Becky screams
" It's not okay" she says in tears as Seth catches her fist and pulls her close to him. " You'll have me...till death do us part" Seth whispers into her ear.
Her outbursts soon subside into sobs.
When she was calm enough Seth asked the security men to unlock the gate and hand him the key to any of the cars in the mansion, he didn't care which.
One glance at his face and the security men obliged.
Seth drove like a maniac and as far as he was concerned, traffic rules could go to hell.
When they finally reach St Patrick's hospital, they both run into the reception. When they enquire about Roman and Charlotte the receptionist tells them that only family members are allowed to go in.
Seth explains that Roman is like a brother to him but the nurse clarifies that he most be blood related.
" She's the closest thing I have to family!" Becky yells loosing it and grabbing unto the receptionists collar.
Seth with great difficulty manages to get Becky off the unlocky woman. After much begging the understanding woman finally gave them directions to the room Charlotte and Roman were in.
When they open the door their jaws drop as they take in the sight...
Charlotte's POV
Roman and I arrived at the mansion and the place was so quiet that panic began to eat at me.
But when we got close enough we began to hear giggles from a voice which I immediately distinguished as Becky's. We trace the giggles to the garden area where we find Becky and Seth all cozy and warm, laughing and discussing, it's then we decided to give them a taste of their own medicine.
With a few calls we were set for the greatest prank in the history of pranks. Seth and Becky's reactions are priceless, though I cried a little and was tempted to call the prank off but as Roman said, it was too late to back out.
We watched everything that transpired and I blessed my long time friend and receptionist because her acting skills are second to none.
The best moment was when they opened the door and the
" GOTCHA" poster screamed at them.
I can't help laughing but as Roman and I prepare for their return, I can't help but think we went a little too far anytime I replay the look on Becky's face.
