Sorry guys but this is a short one.
Seth's POV
Today's January the 29th a day before Becky's birthday and she's acting... I dunno strangely. Like she's body present absent minded.
I don't know why but I can't help but blame myself. If I hadn't been so brash 2 days ago in the park, she might still be normal.
I feel bad and decide to call the one person I think can help.
" Hello... Charlotte,I need your help" I say discreetly into my phone as the line goes through.
" Yeah?" Charlotte replies with a bedroom voice, slightly irritated because of how early it is.
" I need your help" I whisper urgently, trying not to wake Becky up as I glance over my shoulder at her sleeping figure.
" What's up?" She asks and I can swear she's sitting up on the bed at the seriousness of my tone.
" Becky...she's um acting strangely, do you maybe know what's wrong? " I ask,kinda desperately.
" It's a day before her birthday, right?" Charlotte asks. " Yeah but why do you ask?" I ask curiously.
" She normally becomes...distant during the time close to her birthday,I don't know why" Charlotte replies, the sleep long gone from her voice.
"Maybe it's because she hasn't ever really a happy birthday experience" I say, more like a question.
" Yeah... Maybe" Charlotte says like she's trying to convince herself that I'm right.
" Charlotte...is there something your not telling me?" I ask suspicious of her tone.
" No!" She replies abruptly.
" Well then...I think it's time we give Becky a birthday experience she'll never forget" I say excitedly.
" You sure about that?" Charlotte asks unsurely.
" Yeah...why not?" I ask.
" Nothing" Charlotte replies.
" You sure?" I ask and I can almost feel her nod.
" Well I'm gonna need your help in getting Becky out of the house tomorrow" i tell Charlotte.
" I'm on it" she replies, like she's resigning to her faith as the line goes dead.
I look at Becky's sleeping form, place a peck on her lips and smile at her before I start making plans.
Becky is in for a big Surprise...
