"Jungkook, just please. Please don't talk to me right now."
He looked confused, and sad. Although he wanted to know what happened, he kept quiet knowing that you'd prefer him to not pry into your personal matters.
Jungkook's POV:
'I don't know what's wrong with Y/N. It looked like she was pushed or shoved or something.'
As I was drowning in my own thoughts, a girl approached me. "Hi Jungkook!"
Startled, I looked up to see Ji Woo. She was wearing her charming smile. Her long black, silky hair perched on her shoulders, and her pink cheeks and rosy red lips glistening.
I instantly felt happy again. "Hi Ji Woo! What're you doing here?" You were at your lunch table eating with your tablemates known as Bangtan.
"I just wanted to see you." I blushed profusely, extremely happy at what she said.
"T-thanks, I like your company too," I said nervously. Ji Woo just laughed with her angelic voice and hugged me. "You're so cute Jungkook!"
I'm pretty sure my whole entire body turned red. Despite our conversation, my hyungs weren't saying anything. They looked uncomfortable and even annoyed that Ji Woo was there.
"Anyways, I'm going to go eat wit my friends Jungkookie, I'll see you tomorrow!" She waved goodbye to me and started skipping towards her friends.
'Cute.'
"Why didn't you guys say anything to her?" I questioned.
"Jungkook, we all know that you have a crush on her, but all of us don't think that it's good to hang out with her," Namjoon said.
"Why though? She's a nice girl unlike the other girls that cling onto us all the time."
"Look just listen to us. She's up to no good," Jin told you, his worried expression increasing. The rest of your friends just nodded.
"We agree," they all said.
"How would you know?" I was slightly offended that they didn't like Ji Woo.
"Just, nothing." Namjoon looked down at his food and frowned while your other hyungs just sat in silence and ate.
'Why is everyone acting so damn weird today?'
"No, really, tell me why." I wanted answers, actually, correction, I needed answers.
But everyone just stayed quiet to your dismay. 'There can't be anything wrong with Ji Woo, they're not saying anything. It's probably just their guess because she's one of the popular girls.'
I didn't want to continue this awkward silence, so I tried making some small talk. Fortunately, they started talking more and the day was back on track.
Namjoon's POV:
There was a reason why we didn't tell Jungkook about Ji Woo. He would've been hurt. Extremely hurt. He has been crushing on her ever since High School started, we couldn't have just ruined it for him.
Truth was, we all saw Ji Woo bully a girl in the hallway because of Jungkook. There were other girls around her telling the girl she was ugly even when she was so pretty. I really don't get girls these days. We were going to help her but the bell had rung, and she had already walked away from the disaster.
All of Bangtan decided to keep it a secret and just keep disapproving of their relationship until he gives up. It's better than hurting him with the truth, right?
Y/N's POV:
I've been avoiding Jungkook and basically contact with everybody. P.E. was difficult because Jungkook kept looking at me confused. I don't blame him, if I was him, I would've been looking at myself as if I was a mad person.
I felt really bad because I kept ignoring him, but it was for the better. He didn't have to be with an ugly, no value girl like me, and I didn't have to crush his relationship with Ji Woo.
School had already ended, and I was heading over to the nearby park to relax my mind and vent out my thoughts when Jungkook approached me. "Are you okay Y/N? This whole entire day you've been behaving kind of weird from your normal personality. Pus, you've been avoiding contact with literally everyone!"
I didn't want to create a bigger scene so I calmly backed away from him. "I'm fine Jungkook, I just had a headache and was feeling a bit sick that's all." I didn't know why, but the tears started springing up again. "If you don't mind, I'll be heading off now, I don't think I'll be able to work on the project at my place today, so I'll just do my part at home. Sorry Jungkook," you muttered weakly.
I walked off before he could talk to me anymore, and for some reason, it hurt. There was a side of me that wanted his company and comfort.
Jungkook's POV:
I didn't believe anything that Y/N said. Her arms and legs were obviously bruised so it wasn't because she had a headache or wasn't feeling well.
'Why is she avoiding me?'
I knew that she was avoiding contact with everyone, but it was with me especially. Every time we made eye contact, she would break away first, every time I went up to her, she would pretend to not notice and walk away.
'Why am I even worried about her? It's not like she's Ji Woo.'
Despite thinking this, I still decided to try and follow her. I was about to sneak after her when Ji Woo approached me.
"Annyeong Oppa!" Although I normally hated being called that, I was ecstatic that she called me by that title.
"O-Oh, uh, hi Ji Woo," I said cheerfully. 'I can worry about Y/N tomorrow.'
"Can you take me to the boba shop near here, oppa?" Ji Woo was looking up at me with her big eyes and smiling cutely. It would be hard to turn her down.
"Sure Ji Woo. I'll take you there!"
