"Daddy"

Bodil looked up from his notes and looked to his side to see his six-year-old daughter standing there with a big grin along with a present in her hands.

"What's is it?" Bodil said as he slightly turn to face her before picking her up and placing her on his lap. Instead of saying anything, Violet simply held out the present to him, still grinning. "Happy father's day, daddy" she happily said making Bodil smile as he quickly remembered what today was before giving his daughter a big hug.

"Aww, thank you so much sweetie" Bodil said in a slight babyish tone as he was nuzzling his daughter, whom quickly started laughing at his attempts and squirming a bit.

After tickling her for a few minutes, Bodil finally stopped before simply hugging her. "I love you" he told her while placing a kiss on her forehead, causing her to giggle and hugging him back, "I love you too daddy" she said with a giggle before placing the present on the table. "Mama helped me pick a present for you daddy" she told him before getting off of his lap and ran off, giggling.

After watching his daughter run off, Bodil turn to the present before reading the small card connected to the bow.

"Happy father's day idiot"

"That's Simon" Bodil stated with a chuckle after reading it before starting to remove the bow but when he did, the top of the box suddenly swung open and before he knew it, his face was suddenly covered by whip cream.

'Fuck' he thought as he started wiping the cream off of his face before removing his sunglasses. 'Smart move on using our daughter Simon' he thought as he was cleaning his sunglasses since Simon knew that he wouldn't turn their daughter away before smirking a bit, already figuring out how to prank his husband back.
