First off this is like a sneak peak and based on one of my books 'Royal Bloodline' and also based on a headcannon that I made so yeah

"So you are really going through it"

Simon looked over his shoulder to see the blonde cyborg standing by the doorway with a frown on his face.

Letting out a sigh, Simon looked back to the mirror while clenching onto the sleeves of the robe that he was wearing.

He was currently wearing a pure white robe that reached down to his knees and was open, revealing his white pants and was barefoot. The open robe also expose his birthmark of a tribal tattoo of a fully bloom rose.

"You know that I need to do this..." Simon replied as he looked away from the mirror, almost reassure Ghost and himself before jumping when he felt arms wrapped around his own waist and looked back to the mirror to see Ghost, still frowning. "Look, we both know how dangerous this is, I mean....fuck..." the cyborg groan out before burying his face against Simon's neck as he tighten his grip.

Simon squirmed a bit until he was facing the cyborg and gently cups his cheeks as they were staring at each other for a few seconds before the smaller leaned up and kissed him. Ghost quickly kissed him back while moving his hands up, cupping the other's jawline. The kiss lasted for a few minutes until they pulled away before Simon gave Ghost a small grin, "I'll come back okay, besides you still owe me that date" he said with a small giggle making Ghost slightly smile.

"Well it would be our first date as a married couple" Ghost stated which the other nodded with a small happy smile. "Y-Yeah..."

Soon they got serious and Ghost hugged the other, "Just come back safely" the cyborg told him. Simon simply buried his face into Ghost chest and swallowed back his nervousness before nodding, "I will..."

Despite keeping a brave face, Simon was completely scared on the inside. There were several things that could possibly go wrong, but Simon pushed those thoughts back as he was walking towards the shallow pool and saw the royal advisor and sorcerer, Seth and clench his fists from under the sleeve while trying to calm his rapidly beating heart.

"Are you ready my prince" Seth calmly asked which Simon slowly nodding. 'I can do it' he tried to reassure himself as he slowly stepped into the pool, glad that it was just Seth since he doesn't want any of his friends and Ghost to see this.

With Seth's help, Simon slowly kneel down and soon laid onto his back with most of his body submerged underwater as he felt his heart beating faster from fear a nervousness when he felt Seth's hand on his forehead before hearing him mutter out in a different language.

After the chant was over, Seth started to push down as Simon quickly closed his eyes as he was fully underwater and soon felt the coldness seep into his body which made his heartbeat slow down and his consciousness slowly fading away. Simon quickly pushed down the urge to fight against Seth's grip and get out of the water.

'I don't want to die...' that was the last thought that went though his mind before his consciousness faded and went into a death-like state and soon his trial began.
