Even though it had been nearly a month since they had first met to having to get out of Sea Port and to meeting up with Shark before meeting up with AK, Ghetto couldn't help but feel like Nick had something to hide but instead of straight up asking the smaller, he decided to simply let Nick tell him when he's ready.

It had been going on for a few more weeks until halfway through the month, Shark had actually been keeping track of the days, when Ghetto caught sight of Nick sneaking away under the cover of night which made him a bit curious.

'Where is he going?' Ghetto thought as he was watching from the window of his room, seeing a small shadowy figure moving away from the building they were staying in. Although earlier in the day, Ghetto had noticed how tired and pale Nick was and even though he had told the smaller to take a small break, he simply reassured the older that he was alright and even though Ghetto didn't believe him, he didn't push and simply decided to watch from afar just in case.

Quickly making up his mind, Ghetto swiftly put his boots on, grabbed his gun and quietly sneak out of his room, down the stairs and out of the front door, making sure to not wake Shark and AK.

'Hopefully nothing bad happens' he thought as he was going after Nick.

It wasn't long until Ghetto managed to follow Nick towards the edge of the city which led towards the entrance of the forest, making the older more curious. Keeping his hand on the handle of the gun, in case of any zombies appearing, and quietly entered the forest, determined to not lose track of Nick and was glad for his night vision abilities.

'Damn it Nick.....where are you going?' he thought as he kept moving pass the trees, avoiding every stray branch and small rocks while making sure to keep his distance. As he was moving, Ghetto took a glance upwards to see the full moon slowly rising to the middle of the sky, 'Looks peaceful' he thought for a moment before looking away, but instantly stopped. 'Shit' he thought, seeing that he lost track of Nick and tightens his grip on the handle a bit while looking around.

'Okay.......he can't be too far' he thought as he started to move a few feet ahead before stopping again, instantly picking up a faint groan which made his instinct flare up a bit. 'Nick!' Ghetto soon started to run, following the sound and soon burst passed the trees and into an open field which made him tense up for a moment before turning his attention to the center which he instantly saw a familiar person. "N-Nick!" Ghetto suddenly called out before he could stop himself and due to the light coming from the moon, he could see the figure jump a bit and spun around, revealing to be Nick but....a bit different.

Between the moonlight and his night vision, he could see the difference which was the slight sharp canine teeth poking out from his upper lip, what it looked like fur forming down to his jawline like sideburns, nails slowly forming into sharp claws and his eyes letting out a slight glow.

Ghetto slowly lowered his gun in slight shock and surprise of what he saw and while take a step back from the shock, he saw Nick open his mouth to say something only for a pained gasp to slip out before falling to his knees and wrapping his arms around himself. "Nick!" Ghetto cried out worried as he quickly snapped out of his shock and ran towards Nick, instantly falling down to his knees and placed his hand on Nick's shoulder. But once he touched him, the smaller let a sudden growl before slapping Ghetto's hand away completely surprising him, "G-Get aw-away....." Nick managed to say between gasps and groans before leaning down more, almost curled up into a ball. Shaking his head, Ghetto reached out once more to help Nick stand so they could head back but before he could, Ghetto felt a sudden hard push against his midsection, almost hard enough to leave a bruise, and finding himself being pushed back almost three feet away.
