"Damn it Bodil! Stop pacing, you're making everyone more nervous!" Ghost quickly growls out making Bodil instantly stop before running his fingers through his hair. "Sorry"
The reason that he was worried is because his husband went into labor two hours ago and ever since they had got to the hospital, Bodil was forced to wait in the emergency room instead of being in the room, supporting his husband but he sucked it up and simply called their friends, which only Baki and Ghost stayed with him while the others went to grab some coffee to help they stay awake. Recently, Bodil haven't got any new information about his husband's condition along with their baby which infuriated him.
Letting out a frustrated sigh, Bodil soon sat down before feeling someone hugging him which comforted him. "Just try to calm down Bodil, I'm sure everything will go alright" Baki said in a calm tone making the older sigh out before resting his head on top of Baki's. "I know, but I should be in there with Simon" Bodil stated with a frown as Ghost patted his knee as support.
Soon two hours became six hours with no news from the doctors which made Bodil more worried and once again started to pace around in which the others didn't bother stopping him. During the time, Ty, Seto, Double and Clash had to leave since it was getting close to morning and they have their own children to take care of, but they did ask Bodil for any updates.
Soon enough, Bodil started to notice more doctors and nurses moving passed them which his eyes followed to where they were going before the feeling of dread quickly formed in his stomach when he realized that they were heading into where Simon was held and stood up. Despite his sudden movement woke both Ghost and Baki up, he ignored their calls as he tried to get one of the doctor's attention, the feeling slowly growing.
"He-excu-what's goi-" Bodil tried to ask anyone for a few minutes before finally managed to get one of the doctor's attention but before he could say anything, a loud pained scream was heard coming from the room.
"SIMON!" Bodil yelled out in fear and panic and as he was about to run inside, he was forcefully pushed back by one the nurses, saying that he must wait outside. "I need to get in there! My husband needs me!" Bodil angrily exclaimed as he tried to push his way passed the nurse and two security guards, that had been called, but he suddenly felt a strong arm wrap around his neck, easily pulling him back as well as keeping him from struggling too much.
"Damn it Bodil, calm down!" The cyborg growls out as he was firmly gripping onto Bodil's neck, whom was struggling against him. "Let me go!" Bodil growls out as he tried to yank Ghost's arm away but the grip simply tightens a bit more making him grunt before giving up. "Everything will be aright Bodil, the doctors know what they're doing" Baki softly said in hopes of comforting him which Bodil appreciates but it still didn't help with the feeling of dread.
(Two Hours Later)
After much pacing with the feelings of dread and anxiety, they were finally got called though when they turn, Bodil nearly freaked out when he saw one of the doctors with blood covering most of the scrub and blood covering their gloves up to their lower arms.
Not wasting time, Bodil instantly ran up to the doctor and started asking, nearly demanding, about of what was happening and how was both Simon and their daughter but before he could ask anymore questions, the doctor immediately raised their hand, interrupting him. Soon Bodil noticed his solemn expression which caused his throat to tighten a bit, 'Please don't.....' Bodil instantly thought to himself, hoping that it wasn't true.
"My sincere apologies but...your husband passed away"
Bodil felt his heart completely stop while feeling his whole body go numb. 'Oh god no...that can't be true' he felt his mouth go dry and felt his eyes sting as he slowly ran his hands through his hair, slightly gripping them while trying to comprehend of what he just heard. He soon started to shake his head for a few seconds before instantly realizing something important.
"A-And my daughter?" he weakly asked, praying that he didn't lose her as well but to his utter relief, the doctor gave him a small smile.
"Your daughter is perfectly healthy and is currently being cleaned up" the the doctor started to explain that there had only been enough time to save one of them and ultimately Simon made the decision and told the doctors to save their daughter.
Soon everything became a blur as Bodil tried to come to grips of what had happened as he barely noticed Baki crying in despair while Ghost trying to comfort both of them.
Bodil suddenly snapped out of it when he quickly noticed a nurse standing in front of him with a pink bundle which he instantly realized what it was before gently grabbing the bundle from her, holding it close and looking down. He instantly felt his throat closing up from mixed emotions, mostly sadness and happiness as he started down at his newborn daughter.
'She have your eyes' Bodil thought as the baby looked up at him with violet-colored eyes. Quickly pushing back tears, Bodil gently held her close to his chest, vowing to keep her safe.
