First this is a request and secondly, I have no idea what the name of this ship so yeah xD and thirdly, I was so fucking tired when I managed to finish this so yeah

Also this is a slight AU of the crafting dead to where Barney never reunited with Sky and Jess as well as not dying so yeah

"Hey Barney"

The purple haired hybrid quickly snapped out of his thoughts and looked back to see his friend, Nick, standing and looking armed. "You ready to head out?" Nick asked the hybrid, whom blinks a few times before quickly nodding. "Y-Yeah....Just wait for me at the entrance, I need to get something in my room" Barney quickly said while standing up and walked passed Nick.

Once in his room, Barney quickly strapped the belt that held some of his guns and battle knives around his waist before looking at the desk beside the bed to see something gold on it. He walked towards it and reached down to pick up a small golden ring, stared at it before closing his hand around it as painful memories started to surface for a moment before he quickly pushed them back.

'Not right now' he thought and slowly opened his hand and placed a light kiss on the ring before placing it back on the desk and walked out to meet up with Nick.

"So this is the last building before heading back?" Barney asked the brunet as they walked up to the entrance of the building that was a bit away from the city.

After they had scavenged the outer ring of the city, Nick suggested to try checking out a building that he saw at the distance which was surrounded by tress and even though Barney was hesitate on checking it out, Nick managed to convinced him saying that there could be some loot that haven't been found.

"Yeah, hopefully it'll have everything we need" Nick stated as he walked passed the purple-haired hybrid and into the building. For some reason, Barney have the strangest feeling about the building, but he pushed it down before following Nick inside.

Once inside, the inside of the building looked like some kind of a fancy hotel and both men were in the lobby of the building.

"I don't know if they'll be anything valuable" Barney slightly told Nick, whom shook his head. "I'm sure that there's something valuable here" Nick said.

But before they could start, they suddenly heard a voice behind them in a threatening tone.

"Hands up"

Both men quickly spun around with their hands reaching towards the guns before stopping when they saw the person before them pointing their own gun at them. They couldn't really tell who the person was or even their gender since their face was completely covered.

"Hands up!" the person demanded once again which Barney could make out a feminine tone from the person, quickly realizing that it was a woman before him though it sounded slightly familiar. Not wanting to risk it, Barney silently raised his hands making sure that Nick does it as well.

Once their hands were raised, the person started walking towards them, the gun still raised. "Who are you two and why are you here?" she asked them, almost demanded as she was just a foot away from them.

"Um...my name is Nick and this is Barney" Nick started to speak first while introducing themselves though Barney barely noticed the person suddenly tensed up, "And the reason we're here is to..." Nick trailed off when he saw the person getting close to Barney, whom looked slightly confused by the closeness.

"What ar-" Barney started to ask when he suddenly caught her scent making him tensed up in surprise. "Who are you?" the purple haired hybrid asked with a slight frown as he tried to figure out where he recognized the scent from.

Instead of talking, the person placed the gun back in the holder before removing both the scarf and hat that concealed her identity, revealing herself. "J-Jess...." Barney breathed out in shock at the sight of an old friend.

Jess started to tear up before instantly jumped towards the older male and hugged him tightly, "Barney!" she cried out in happiness as Barney returned the hug, glad that she was alright. They hugged for a few moments before Barney suddenly pulled away and gripped her shoulders tightly with a slight fearful expression on his face, "W-Where's Goat?" he asked, hoping that nothing bad had happened.

Though to his relief, Jess simply gave him a reassuring smile, "He's fine, just resting in one of the rooms"

"So he's in there?" Barney softly asked Jess as she opened the door to one of the rooms, "Yeah, he's just resting a bit since it had been tiring for him" Jess told him with a smile before letting Barney inside and led Nick away so they could talk.

Once inside the room, the purple haired man quietly closed the door behind him and looked around, seeing the room a bit dark due to the curtains blocking the windows. Soon he turn to the only bed in the room before sing a lone figure on it and Barney felt his heart stop a bit along with something building in his chest.

Swallowing a bit, Barney walked to the bed, carefully getting on it before laying beside the sleeping figure, intently listening to the soft breathing coming from the figure. Soon he slowly reached out and pulled the figure close to his chest, chocking back a sob at the familiarly before tensing up when he felt the figure slowly move for a few seconds until they rolled over, now facing him.

Soon Barney started to tear up when he felt a bump, "S-Sky..." he breathed out while the other male blinks a few times before becoming fully awake. "Barney.." Sky breathed out before quickly moving close, tightly hugging the purple haired man while letting out a sob.

Feeling complete relief, Barney quickly returned the hug as he wrapped his tail around Sky's waist in a protective manner while lightly rubbing his thumb along Sky's swollen stomach, feeling completely happy that both Sky and their child alive and well.
