Part 15- Let's Get Ugly.

2 months later...

My POV-

'I hope you're not having a clothes malfunction again!' Jade shouted. 

'I'm not actually, I'm just putting my shoes on, tell Nath I'll be down in a minute' I laughed. I looked so fat, it was unreal. At least I'm half way there now, I trudged down the stairs and Nathan was waiting for me in the hall. We were off to the hospital for the 20 week scan, 

'Come on fatty,' Nathan said. I just glared at him.

'It's your fault I'm fat,' I snarled as I walked towards him.

'Last time I checked it takes two to make a baby,' he answered sarcastically.

'It's still your fault,' I replied as we got to the hospital waiting room. We sat down and waited to be called in by Laura, our midwife. We had been there for half an hour, our appointment was supposed to be at 2:30pm, Nathan was starting to become impatient. 

'Amy Parker' Laura called.

'At last.' I heard Nathan mutter under her breath. I took hold of his hand and we followed Laura in.

'Sorry for the delay, things have been heptic here.' Laura apologised.

'It's okay,' I smiled.

'So, how have things been?' she asked.

'Really well actually. Not really enjoying the morning sickness, but it will be all worth it in the end.' I explained to her.

I then laid down on the bed thing and Laura started the scan, I had forgotten how cold the gel thing was. Nathan was stood beside me, holding my hand tightly. An image then appeared on the little screen,

'There you are,' Laura said whilst pointing at the screen. That was our baby, I turned my head to look at Nathan and I saw a tear forming in his eyes.

'Do you want to know the sex of the baby?' Laura asked with a smile on her face. 

'It's up to you Ams,' Nathan smiled.

'Yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing.' I said as I looked to Nathan, he smiled as if to say that it was okay.

Jay's POV-

Me and Jade have been together for two years now, and I have enjoyed every moment of the two years. I wanted to do something special. I went into the kitchen to find Tom already in there.

'Alright bird?' he asked as I sat down beside him.

'Yeah, just been thinking.' I replied.

'About what?' he questioned.

'I was thinking of asking Jade to marry me, but I'm not sure.' I confessed.

'Ah mate, just do what you think is right, good luck if you do.' he said before leaving the kitchen.

Shall I or Sharn't I?

Nathan's POV-

I'm happy that we now know the sex of our baby.

'Is there anything that you would like to know before you go?' Laura asked us as we were getting ready to leave the hospital.

'No, thank you.' Amy answered as she put her jacket on.

'Okay, see you soon.' Laura said to us as we left the room. I then put my arm around Amy and pulled her into me,

'Let's go and tell the others,' I suggested.

'Yeah of course.' she replied. We then got in the car and made our way back to the flat.

We got to the flat and found everyone else in the living room,

'Hey, how did it go?' Jade said as she came up to Amy to give her a hug.

'Really well, theres something we would like to tell you.' Amy replied. Tom and Max paused the game and everyone turned to face us,

'We are having a little girl.' Amy announced.

'Awh, I'm going to have a little niece.' Tom said rushing over to us, he gave Amy a big hug.

'Let's have a little celebration here?' Sophie suggested.

'What a great idea,' Tom replied.

Later that night...

My POV-

I went into the kitchen to find Nathan standing by the kitchen counters, he seemed a million miles away,

'You alright Nath?' I asked as I stood next to him, 

'Yeah, was just thinking.' he replied.

'About what?' I questioned, as I went to stand next to him. He then put his arm around my waist and pulled me into his chest,

'I was just thinking about how lucky I am, lucky to have two beautiful girls in my life. I am a very lucky guy to have an amazing girlfriend like you.' he said softly, he then went to stand in front of me. He put his hands on my face and kissed me softly on the lips, I smiled. He then pulled away and said,

'I love you Amy.'

'I love you too.' I replied.

Jade's POV-

Jay was acting strange tonight, I know that he is quite strange most of the time but there was something different about him tonight. I went to get myself another drink when I felt some arms around my waist,

'Come with me,' the person who the arms belonged to said. I took Jay's hand and followed him. He took me outside and we sat on the bench in the garden.

'Shit, it's cold out here.' I moaned.

'Yeah, I won't keep you long.' he smiled.

'The last two years have been pretty amazing, haven't they?' he said.

'Yeah, they have, what made you say that?' I questioned.

'I can't imagine my life without you Jade, so I just wanted to ask.' he began to say, he then got up from the bench and pulled a small white box out of his pocket.

'Jade Holness....will you marry me?' he asked as he got down on one knee and opened the small box. Inside the box, there was a silver diamond ring. I could feel tears forming in my eyes.

'Of Course I will.' I answered. He put the ring on to my finger and lifted me up.

Jay's POV-

I'm so happy she said yes.
