Let's Get Ugly! [The Wanted Fanfic]

Part 43- Let's Get Ugly.

Nathan's POV-

Just over a month has passed since Oscar and Ollie were born and things have been going really well, but very tiring, we were able to take them home the next day. We both have been coping well, unlike last time. In a few days time, it is christmas day, everyone is coming round ours, I am really looking forward to it. Lucy was sat with Ams, as she was decorating the tree, I was sat on the sofa with the boys in my arms, they both have Amy's eyes and my nose. 

Christmas Eve ...

Jade's POV- 

I love christmas! Me and jay have spent the last two up north with his family. It'll be different having it together, just us two. I am looking forward to it though and I can't wait to go see lucy and the twins tomorrow. They'll love it! Jay has left out a carrot and some milk... For himself, he's a strange boy. But that's why I love him! 

My POV- 

It was half past six, me and Nathan were just putting the twins in their Pj's. Nathan's mum had bought them little outfits to wear. Ollie had a reindeer one and Oscar had a santa one they looked soo cute. 

'It's time to leave the carrots and milk for santa,' I smiled.

'Don't forget the mince pie,' Nathan said, winking at me. I passed Ollie to Nathan and went and got the stuff from the kitchen I put the milk and mince pie on the side and gave the carrot to Lucy to put on the table. 

'Put it down Luce,' Nathan said the room then went quiet while she laid it down. All of a sudden Lucy shouted,

'SANTA!' 

'Her first proper word!' I exclaimed, quite shocked. 

'Awh, my baby, she's all grown up now,' Nathan said, with a a big grin on his face.

I was really looking forward to tomorrow, spending time with my family and friends. I put the kids to bed and went back downstairs to sit with Nathan on the sofs. I rested my head on his chest and he rested his arm on me,

'I hope you have been a good boy as you might find a lump of coal in your stocking tomorrow.' I joked.

'I'll have you know that I have been a very good boy,' Nathan said with a smile on his face.

'That's not what Santa told me.' I said whilst looking at Nathan.

'Since when do you talk to Santa?' Nathan asked sarcastically.

'All the time, he tells me to keep an eye on you and to tell him what I've seen,' I laughed. Nathan just kissed me on the head,

'I think I have a mental girlfriend,' Nathan laughed.

'It's taken you this long to realise that,' I answered. Nathan just laughed,

'Do you want a cup of tea?' I offered.

'Go on then,' Nathan responded. I got up from Nathan's side and made my way into the kitchen, as I waited for the kettle to boil, I leant against the kitchen cupboards and I began to think about how amazing my life is at the moment, I never thought that things would be this good, I have the most beautiful children, and an amazing boyfriend, I am so happy. The kettle boiled and I made the tea, I then took them into the living to find Nathan fast asleep on the sofa. I quietly sat down beside him and I laid next to him, watching him sleep.

The next Day...

It was 8am when I turned to look at the time, I then realised that me and Nathan were still on the sofa. I lightly shook Nathan to wake him, he opened his eyes and kissed me on the lips,

'Merry Christmas babe,' he said with a smile on his face. I kissed him back and before the kiss could become passionate, the sound of crying came from upstairs,

'You sort the twins, I'll get Lucy.' Nathan said. I got up from the sofa and went up to the boys, I got them changed and I brought them downstairs. Nathan had Lucy on his lap and they were sat on the floor near the tree. I then sat on the sofa with the twins in my arms, Nathan then started helping Lucy open her presents. There was then a knock at the door, Nathan got up to answer it, it was Tom, Claire, Jay and Jade. Max and Sophie were going to Max's parents and Siva, Emma and Anthony had gone to Ireland to Siva's family. They came with the arms full of presents, they came into the living room, and placed the presents on the floor by the christmas tree. Jade then took Ollie from my arms and Tom came and sat next to me on the sofa and kissed me on the head,

'Merry Christmas Ams,' he said with a big grin on his face. Lucy had got given loads of lovely presents, such as new clothes, dolls, teddies, and loads of toys. Oscar and Ollie got loads of new clothes and teddies, and some small toys.

Nathan's POV-

The kids were with Tom and Jade, so I went into the kitchen to find Amy, she was busy getting the dinner ready. I then snaked my arms around her waist and pulled her into me, I then reached into my pocket and pulled out a gift wrapped box, I then handed it to Ams,

'Merry Christmas beautiful,' I said with a big grin on my face.

'I thought we said that we weren't going to get each other anything,' Amy said with a smile on her face.

'I know...but I'm allowed to treat my baby now and again...just open it babe,' I said whilst winking at her. Without hesitation Amy ripped the paper off and opened the box.

My POV-

I opened the red rectangular box that Nathan had just given to me, and found a silver locket necklace, it was beautiful.

'Open the locket,' Nathan commanded. I did what was asked of me, and I opened the locket and inside it was pictures of the kids, and engraved on the back of it was the date of when me and Nath got together. I felt a tear falling down my cheek,

'Thank you Nath, I love it.' I said as I kissed him on the lips,

'Anything for my girl, but it wasn't supposed to make you cry,' he whispered as he wiped my tears with his thumbs.

'But now I feel bad,' I began to say.

'Why babe?' Nathan asked.

'I haven't got you anything.' I said whilst looking at the ground. I then felt Nathan's hand under my chin, he made me look at him in the eyes,

'I don't need anything, You and the kids are the best gift that I could ever ask for.' he said with a smile on his face, he then went to kiss me but one of the twins began to cry,

'I'll sort it,' I said as I walked away from Nathan.

Later that night...

The kids were fast asleep so we decided to put them to bed. I got back downstairs to find my drunk brother and my very tipsy boyfriend on the karaoke, it was very funny to watch. I went and sat with Jade and Jay on the sofa,

'Have you and Nath thought about the wedding?' Jay asked.

'To be honest, we haven't really discussed it because of the twins but I can't wait to marry him, so I don't mind waiting.' I replied to him. Nathan then turned round and winked at me, I just smiled back at him. What I had just said to Jay was true, I actually cannot wait to finally become Mrs Sykes, but I think because we have had the kids we don't wanna rush into it, as long as it does happen, I don't care how long it takes us. Although, sometimes when I went shopping with Jade we had a quick look in wedding shops and I have found some brochures and had a look through them.
