Part 29- Let's Get Ugly.

The Next day...

Jade's POV-

A day had passed and we have 4 more left. Yesterday, we got to the apartment and we decided to go out for something to eat. I was falling in love with Venice, it was so beautiful, we found a little restaurant that was looking onto the river. It was quiet but very romantic, I ordered spaghetti bolognese and Jay ordered a vegetarian lasagne. After we had finished eating, we went on one of those gondolas, which was amazing, I really wanted to learn more about the culture.

Today, we were going to go to one of the art galleries in Venice, Jay was still fast asleep, so I decided to go and get a shower before he could.

Claire's POV-

I'm so happy for the lads, the tour in America is going to be amazing but I am really going to miss Tom. We haven't been apart from each other for that long. Tom has been staying at mine a lot, he might aswell move in. We were sat watching the telly and I was resting my head on his shoulder, it was silent but not an awkward silence.
'I was thinking,' Tom began to say.
'Ooh, about what?' I asked him, as I moved to look at him.
'How about you come to America with us for a bit?' he suggested.
'Are you sure? I mean, would the others mind me tagging along?' I asked for reassurance.
'I wouldn't of asked would I, and I've already asked Jayne and she said that it is fine.' Tom explained. I felt a big smile appear on my face,
'I would love to come,' I said before pouncing onto Tom to give him a hug. I have never been to America, so I am really excited.

Max's POV-

Me and Sophie were off to the hospital, I was finally getting my cast off, it will feel great when I start walking properly again. Sophie was driving us there, me and Sophie have drifted apart, I think since the night of the crash, we haven't really been that close. Maybe we should talk about what happened that night, she has been very off with me. We got in the car and it as silent, it was an awkward silence. I didn't know what to say, it's probably best to leave her for a bit. We got to the hospital and Sophie helped me hobble out of the car, and we then made our way inside. We got to the waiting room, and waited to be called in, we waited for about 10 minutes and then the nurse came out and called me into the room. We got up and followed her in,
'My name is Kelly,' the nurse introduced herself.
'Nice to meet you,' I replied with a smile. She then smiled, 
'Your in that boyband The Wanted aren't you?' she asked.
'Yes I am,' I replied.
'My little girl loves you guys,' she informed me.
'Awh, how cute,' I replied with a little smile.
'Now, after the cast is removed, it will probably feel a bit strange as you haven't used you leg properly,' she explained.
'I'm just happy to be getting it off,' I said.
'Don't rush into any strenuous exercise, as the bone in your leg is very weak, and could do more damage.' she warned.
'Oh, I won't thank you,' I replied.

The cast was then taken off of my leg, it felt so good to finally have it off. 
'If you have any troubles then don't hesistate to come back, Ok?' she said before Sophie and I got up to leave the room.
'Yeah, sure, thank you,' I replied. We then left the room.
'How about I treat you to something to eat?' I suggested to Sophie.
'Yeah sure,' she replied quickly as she got into the car. Something's wrong and I'm going to make it my mission to find out what is bothering her. I got into the car and Sophie drove off.

Jay's POV-

We got bored of going round the art galleries so we decided to go to and have a drink, 
'I have a challenge for us,' I piped up as we headed to the nearest bar.
'What's that then?' Jade replied with a bit of interest.
'We try out every beer, in all of the bars.' I revealed to her with a big grin on my face.
'I should of known it would have something to do with alcohol, but let's do it.' she laughed.

Sophie's POV-

For the last few days, I have been recieving texts from my ex boyfriend, Josh. We used to be so close but he left to join the army and I couldn't cope with the long distance, so I decided to end things. We have remained friends and he is coming home to London in a few days and asked if he could see me. I would love to see him again but I'm not sure how Max would react. I parked the car outside of Nandos and we went inside, we found a table and sat down, my phone vibrated and I look down to see Josh's name on the screen, it was a text, I opened the text and it said,
'Please come and see me. I miss seeing you Soph xx'. I felt a small smile appear on my face.
'What you smirking at?' Max questioned.
'Oh, Jade just texted saying they are having an amazing time.' I lied.
'Awh, that's good then.' Max answered.
'Are you alright?' Max asked as he placed his hand on top of mine.
'Yeah of course I am,' I replied with a small smile.
'There's something been bothering you lately, please tell me.' Max begged.
'There's nothing wrong, honest.' I said before kissing him softly on the lips.
'You sure?' Max asked for reassurance.
'100%,' I replied.
'Good.' he answered as the waiter come over with our food.

Jade's POV-

We were just leaving the forth bar and I was starting to feel a bit drunk, whereas my husband was pissed. What a surprise!.'
'I think we should go back to the apartment.' I suggested to Jay.
'Not yet, let's enjoy the peace and quiet,' he replied as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to a bridge that was over looking the Grand Canal, it was mesmerising.
'I'm so glad that you agreed to marry me, I'm lucky to have you in my life.' Jay said whilst looking into my eyes.
'Don't start getting all soppy Mr McGuiness.' I laughed.
'I'm not, I'm simply just saying.' he smiled. He then kissed me softly on the lips.

2 Days Later...

Sophie's POV-

Today, I am meeting Josh, I told Max that I was meeting up with an old friend, which I kind of am. I got up and headed to the shower, and got myself ready, it was nice outside, so I decided to wear a flowery dress with some sandals and a cardigan with a brown over the shoulder bag. I then made my way to the train station, that was where I was meeting him. I got to the train station and sat down on the bench across from the train station, I waited there for about 15 minutes, I then saw a familar figure walking towards me. It was Josh, he was looking even hotter from the last time I saw him. He finally got to me and swooped me up into a big bear hug.
'It's so great to see you Soph.' Josh said after he let go of me.

'Shall we get some coffee?' I suggested.
'Great Idea.' he said with a smile. He had a lovely smile. We then set off to the nearest coffee house. We found a costa close by and went and found a table in the corner. We ordered the drinks and I was just about to pay.
'No, I'll get these,' Josh replied with a wink. I picked up the drinks and we went and sat down.
'So, how have things been?' Josh asked me.
'Things are fine, I have a job as a photographer, which I love. What about you?' I replied.
'Not great, I hate being in the army, I don't want to be there anymore, the things I have seen.' he said as he looked down at the table, I found myself moving my hand on to his and I held it tightly.
'Leave if your not happy Josh.' I said to him, trying to comfort him.
'That would make me a coward, I promised my friends that I would continue fighting the battle that they have lost, I can't break that promise.' he said without taking his eyes off of me, I then felt his soft lips touch mine, but I pulled away.
'I can't.' I said.
'Why not?' Josh asked with a look of disappointment on his face.
'I have a boyfriend.' I told him.
'Why didn't you tell me.' he moaned.
'You never asked.' I replied, as I got up and grabbed my bag and walked out of the cafe.

What the hell have I just done?
