Part 16- Let's Get Ugly.

Jay's POV-

I pulled the ring out of the box and smiled. I picked up Jade's hand and slipped the ring on her finger 

'Birds down on one knee!' Tom shouted. Everyone rushed outside, 

'Oh my god!', Amy shouted, she ran over to us and grabbed Jade's hand, 

'It's beautiful', She threw her arms round Jade, a big smiled appeared on Nathan's face, 

'You did it!' He mouthed to me, I smiled and stood up, I pulled jade towards my chest and kissed her head.

'Congratulations mate,' Max said.

2 month later...

My POV-

So Jay and Jade are engaged, I was over the moon when I heard the news. The lads were doing a gig at Newmarket Racecourse, so us girls decided to have a girly night in, as Nathan gave me orders to rest. The girls were drinking some alcohol as I was drinking some tea, cause obviously I can't drink. We all settled down to watch the film Horrible Bosses, we were having a good girly chat. During the film, I popped to the loo, as being pregnant, me bladder is very weak. I just came out of the bathroom when I felt a very sharp pain in my stomach,

'Arghhh.' I shouted, my god it was painful. The sharp pains were constant. 

'What's wrong?' Jade said as she rushed towards me.

'Sharp pains,' Is all I could manage to say.

'Babe, I don't mean to scare you but I think you might be going into labour.' she said worriedly.

'But I can't be I'm not due for another 2 months.' I cried. Just as I finished speaking, my waters broke. 

'Oh no,' I cried.

'It's okay, we will get you to the hospital.' Jade said trying to calm me down.

'I don't want to go to hospital, I want Nathan.' I said.

'Emma, get hold of Nathan now.' Jade demanded.

Nathan's POV-

We were just getting ready to go on stage at Newmarket when my phone rang. I looked at my phone and it was Emma. Why was Emma ringing me? I thought to myself, I didn't hesitate to answer it,

'Hey Emma, you alright?' I asked.

'No, not really, Amy's gone into labour.' she informed me.

'What? Tell her that I am on my way.' I said to her. I then ended the call. This cannot be happening. I grabbed my jacket and got ready to go,

'Oi, where you off to?' Tom moaned.

'Amy needs me.' I answered.

'We need you here aswell.' he grumbled.

'Well, my girlfriend needs me as she is going into labour, so I'm sorry for wanting to be at the birth of my baby,' I snapped.

'Amy's in labour?' Tom repeated.

'Yes, can I go now?' I asked sarcastically.

'Wait, I'm coming with you.' Tom shouted.

'We both can't go, You four can stay and do the show, I'm sure people will understand.' I demanded.

'Fine. Just ring me if anything happens okay?' he moaned.

'Of course, apologise to Jayne and the lads but hopefully they will understand,' I said before rushing off.

Jade's POV-

I cannot believe this is happening already. The ambulance said that it could be up to 40 mins before they would arrive.

'Come on and sit down,' I instructed Amy.

'I want Nathan,' she cried.

'He is on his way sweetie,' Emma said, trying to calm her down.

'Just keep breathing,' I said to Amy.

'I am bloody breathing,' she snapped.

50 minutes later...

The ambulance had just arrived, now we were just waiting for Nathan to come. Just as the paramedics had got to Amy, Nathan came rushing through the door.

Nathan's POV-

I had made it. I rushed to Amy's side,

'You're here,'she cried to me.

'Yes babe, I'll be with you all the way.' I said as I kissed her hand. I went with Amy in the ambulance and the girls followed.

We got to the hospital and we then got taken to the room. Amy was so close to giving birth, I stood beside her and held her hand tightly and said,

'Come on babe, you can do this,'. It felt like we had been in that room for hours but the time had finally come. Amy was squeezing my hand very tightly, it was beginning to hurt.

'I can't do it,' she cried.

'Yes you can just one more push,' the midwife told her. All of a sudden there was the sound of crying in the room. Our little girl was finally here.I could feel tears forming in my eyes, I kissed Amy on the lips and said,

'You did it babe, I love you so much.'

'Where are they taking her?' Amy panicked.

'They are just making sure that she is okay.' I said trying to calm her down, but to be honest I didn't know what was happening myself. The doctor then came over to us,

'As you are probably aware, your baby is 2 months premature, the next 24 hours could be critical, but we will keep checking up on her, but so far she seems like she will pull through, and be a healthy little girl.' he explained.

'Can we hold her?' Amy asked.

'Of course, the nurse will bring her over to you shortly. Congratulations to you both,' he said before walking away. The nurse then brought the baby to us, she handed her to Amy and asked,

'Have you thought of a name for her?'.

'I like the name Lucy.' Amy suggested.

'Lucy it is then,' I replied with a smile. Lucy was tiny but one of the most beutiful thing that I have ever seen. 

Tom's POV-

The gig had finished and we had made our way to the hospital, I then got a text from Nath saying,

'You are now an uncle to a gorgeous little girl called Lucy.' That brought a tear to my eyes, this made me more eager to get to the hospital.
