Let's Get Ugly! [The Wanted Fanfic]

Part 47- Let's Get Ugly.

Nathan's POV-

Tonight, me and Amy are going to Lucy's parents evening, apparently this one is to talk about how well the children have settled in. I think Amy's going to mention the trouble that Lucy has been getting from those boys, everytime either me or Amy try and talk to her about it, she doesn't really tell us much, which is making Amy worry even more. Emma and Seev are going to look after the kids whilst me and Ams are at this meeting.

I think all this worrying has made Amy lose a lot of weight, I haven't actually seen her eat a fullmeal for a long time. I have also noticed that she hasn't been sleeping much either, she keeps tossing and turning. I keep telling her to eat something but she always tries to change the subject, I am starting to worry because this is not good for her or good for the kids to see.

The meeting isn't until seven o'clock this evening, it was my turn to go and pick Lucy up from school today, Amy stayed at home with the boys. I waited outside the school gates for about ten minutes, I then noticed Luce coming out of the doors, I then saw two boys walking beside her, the looked older than Luce. Lucy looked like she didn't want them around her, I stayed there staring to see what the boys were going to do next, but instead they walked off.

Lucy then saw me standing there and she ran to me and gave me a hug.

'What were thise boys saying to you?' I asked her.

'Nothing Daddy,' she replied.

'If you tell me what they said, I'll buy you some sweets, but if I buy you the sweets, it will be our little secret, so that means you can't tell Mummy or your brothers, OK? I bribed her, she looked at me and nodded.

'They were saying how horrible my hair is and that I don't belong at this school,' she revealed, I felt my blood boiling when she told me that, I mean..how dare they say that to my daughter.

'Do you know their names?' I questioned.

'Joe and Harley,' she informed me.

'Ok, shall we go to the shops?' I said as she took hold of my hand. I decided that it was best not to tell Amy what Lucy just told me just yet, I will mention it when we get to meeting.

Later That Night...

My POV-

I got the kids ready for when Emma and Siva come to pick them up. Things between me and Nathan have been a bit rocky, I mean we haven't argued or anything, I mean that we have different views about what is happening with Luce. He thinks that I am worrying too much and I think that we should be doing more to make sure that it stops. He has also been on my case aboutme not eating , but I just haven't been very hungry lately and I don't see that being much of a problem, however, Nathan seems to think it is. I suppose he is only caring about me.

I hopped into the shower before getting myself ready for this meeting with Lucy's teacher. Emma and Seev came and picked the kids up, I think that they are going to let them play with Anthony, they all get along well with him, which is always nice to watch. After, Emma and Seev left with the kids, me and Nath made out way to the school.

We got to the meeting and found Miss Baldwin, Lucy's teacher waiting for us, she was quite a pretty girl, she didn't look much older than me and Nathan, I would say that she was 24 or 25. As we approached her, I could see that she was judging me, as she gave me a dirty look.

'Awh, great to meet you at last,' she said to us both, but I could tell that she meant that for Nathan. We then followed her into one of the classrooms and sat down,

'Now, Lucy is a lovely quiet little girl who loves to get involved or help me out in the classroom,' Miss Baldwin said.

'That's great to hear Miss Baldwin,' Nathan replied.
