Part 17- Let's Get Ugly.

Tom's POV- 

I rushed through the hosptial doors, closely followed by the lads and Jayne, I made my way up to a woman on the desk 
'Amy Parker, she's just given birth to a premature baby,' I said gasping for breath. 
'If you would just like to take a seat please' the woman behind the desk said calmly, 
'Look, do you know who I am? I want to see my sister now' I demanded. 
'Mr parker?' A woman questioned. 
'What's it to do with you?' I snapped. 
'I'm Amy's midwife she's this way' she said pointing to the left. 
'Thank you,' I said following her. 
'It's ok,' she smiled. 
'I'm sorry I snapped. I swung the door open, and there was my beautiful sister and niece, I felt a tear form in my eye, 'Come here,' Amy said. I slowly made my way over to them 'She's beautiful' I smiled, 
'Want to hold her?' Nathan asked. 
'You sure?' Amy lifted lucy up and placed her in my arms, 
'Now listen to me, I've messed up loads in my life, but I promise from this day on, you and your mummy are everything to me,' I said. Nathan coughed and gave me the 'and what about me look' I smiled and whispered in Lucy's ear. 
'And your daddy,'

Jade's POV- 

I walked over to jay and he pulled me close,'
'Aren't they so perfect, such a perfect family' 
'yea, and we will be soon,' I looked up at him and smiled. 
'I love you,' he leant down and kissed me, 
'I love you too,' he smiled. 
'Got any idea's for god parents?' I joked. 
'I was thinking maybe you are Jay? And Tom and claire?' Amy said. 
'I was only joking you know?' I laughed. 
'I know, but I'd like you to be if you want?' She asked.

Jay's POV- 

'Well we'd love to be god parents,'I smiled.

1 month later... 

Nathan's POV- 

We had been at the hospital every day for the past month. Each day, we watched our little girl grow. She was so beautiful, the nurse came in and I was stood by her incubator, she was holding my finger, 
'She's nearly ready to go home,' the nurse smiled. 
'Really? When can we go?' Amy asked. 
'Very soon, a doctor will be here in a bit to examine Lucy and you may be able to go home tomorrow. 
'That's brilliant news' Amy said, as a big smile sprung across her face.

The next day-

The doctor came round later that afternoon and gave Lucy the all clear and today we were getting ready to take our baby girl home. At last. I went to go and get the car, whilst Amy and the nurse were sorting out Lucy. I got back to the ward and found Amy sitting on the end of the bed, with Lucy in her arms. I went and sat down beside her, as I looked closely at her face, I noticed that she was crying.
'Ay, what's wrong baby?' I whispered to her as I pulled her into me.
'I was just thinking how beautiful our baby is, and how lucky we are that she has made it through,' she smiled as a tear trickled down her cheek. I wiped the tears away with my hand and said to her,
'I'm so proud of you babe, and I love you for bringing this gorgeous baby girl into my life,'. I then kissed her on the lips passionately. 
'Let's take Lucy home.' Amy smiled.

My POV-

I was happy to finally take Lucy home from the hospital, I've not been home for a month. Nath would always try and make me go home but I didn't want to leave Lucy's side, just incase something did go wrong. We got back to the flat, and Nathan got Lucy out of the car and we walked to the door. I opened the door and got a big shock, the flat had been decorated with banners saying, 'Welcome Home Lucy' on them. Tom then came rushing towards me and picked me up and gave me a big hug.
'Who's idea was this?' I asked after Tom had put me down. They all turned there heads to look at Jade, I walked towards her and gave her a hug, 
'Thank you so much,' I said to her.
'Don't worry about it,' she said.

Later on that night...

The drinks were flowing and Lucy was fast asleep in my arms. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door, Tom went to go and answered it. About a minute later, I could hear shouting coming from the hallway. I handed Lucy to Nathan and went to go and see what was going on. I approached the door and saw two familar figures standing infront of Tom. What were they doing here? I thought to myself.
'Amy, go back to Lucy and Nathan, I'll sort this out,' Tom demanded. I felt a tear form my eyes, I walked back through the living room and straight upstairs. I shut the bedroom door behind me and slid down it. I then let the tears fall down my cheeks, Why did they have to come?. 

I then heard a knock on the door. I knew that it was Nathan, so I wiped my face and opened the door.
'What's wrong babe?' Nathan asked as he wrapped his arms around me. I never told him what had happened that night I came to Tom, maybe it is time.
'I have something to tell you,' I said to him as I sat down on the bed.
'What?' he asked in a concerned way.
'You know that night I first came here?' I asked.
'Yeah,' he replied.
'Well, the reason that I came here was because of my step dad, Paul. He wasn't very nice to me, he thought that it was okay to hit me. And that night, he hit me and I just had to get out of that house, I couldn't handle it anymore,' I cried.
'Why didn't you tell me?' Nathan asked softly.
'I just tried to not think about it but the thing is' I explained.
'The thing is what?' he questioned me.
'My mum and Paul are the people who are at the door.' I finished saying.
'His downstairs,' he said with an angry tone. I then saw him clench his fists. I just nodded.

Nathan's POV-

I can't believe what Amy had just told me. After Amy nodded, I walked out the bedroom and headed downstairs. I was so angry. Amy came running after me,
'Don't do anything stupid Nathan.' she warned me. I got to the hallway where Tom was standing with a man and woman. Tom turned round and saw me walking towards them,
'I want you to leave NOW.' I shouted at them both.
'Since when do I listen to little boys.' The man laughed. That was it, I swung for him,
'That's for hurting my girlfriend and for being a prick,' I shouted at him. Tom then pulled me away.
'I don't want you two anywhere near my baby, so I suggest you piss off,' Amy snapped at her Mum and Step dad.
'Please let me see her?' her Mum begged.
'Why should I?' Amy shouted.
'I just wanna see my grandaughter for one time.' her mum said whilst looking at the ground.
'No, you never gave a shit about me or Tom, but now you want me to let you into my daughters life. Well that's not going to happen so get out of the flat now.' Amy shouted. The sound of crying came from the living room, it was Lucy. Jade then brought her out to us, Amy took her off her and walked away.
