THE SCHOOL APPEARED IN MALLORY'S LINE OF SIGHT, the tension in her shoulders disappearing with the familiar background. Mitch stood on watch, and when he noticed his fellow group members he jumped down to let them in. Exhaustion crept up on her as they pushed inside as everyone huddled around to see what they had brought home.

"Took y'all a while," Ruby said

"How poor are they that have not patience!" Louis remarked as they placed the two bags of food on top of one of the tables. Everyone grew more excited as they revealed what was inside, as none of them could deny that the sight of food was one of the best sights. Willy called everyone who hadn't joined, the excitement in his voice detectable. His newfound joy made their dangerous task seem all the more rewarding.

"That's, like, a lot of food," MItch observed shocked.

"Observant as ever, Mitch," Louis replied.

Everyone did their rounds of expressing their disbelief, as Mallory and the others stood there proudly. Willy stared at Clementine with admiration, the young boy smiling at her as she turned to him. "You're our savior, Clem," he declared.

"Louis, Mallory, and Violet helped, too," Clementine clarified, not wanting to take all the appreciation.

"None of them ever brought back this much before," Aasim said causing Mallory to frown.

"Neither have you," Louis defended all three of them.

Mallory crossed her arms over her chest upon seeing Marlon and Brody approaching. She almost forgot about the sure possibility of her brother lecturing her yet again on how she failed to follow one simple order and go outside of the safe zone. She knew she'd be the one to be blamed. That's what she got for expressing her opinions the most regarding the whole subject. However, in her eyes, that's what leaders did, even if some weren't happy with the decisions. No leader was good unless they could have strong opinions and weren't easily swayed.

"Where did you find all this?" Brody questioned suspiciously.

"The old train station," Louis said. "Clem led us."

"Train station..." Brody trailed off before a flash of realization flashed across her face. "that's outside the safe zone."

Marlon's head perked up at this, "Mallory..." he started in a disappointed manner.
