Eunice's POV

Tapos na akong i check, we're now waiting for the result. Mark is still holding my hand and massage it. I can see that he's really excited whatever the result is.

Maya-maya lang ay tinawag na ulit ang pangalan ko. Pumasok kami sa loob.

"Take a sit." Sabi ng doctor.

"So what's the result doc?" Mark asked.

"Mmm..." The doctor hum while reading what's written in the paper.. "Ok... So Mr. and Mrs. Tuan..." The doctor said and stared at the paper again.

"What doc? Pasuspense ka masyado ehh.." Mark

"Hahahaha" the doctor laugh. Kahit ako nga eh natawa kay Mark. Atat na atat kasi hahaha.

"Ok.. ok.. so I would like to say.." nag side smile pa muna ang doctor halatang inaasar si Mark. Si Mark naman nag-aabang. Pero bigla itong naging seryoso. "Sorry.. but she's not pregnant.."

Kita mo ang pagbagsak ng balikat ni Mark at ako din ay nagulat. Akala ko... Kasi..buntis na ako.. ayaw ko din naman na madismaya si Mark.. nakangiti ang doctor ehh..

"Ahh g-ganon po ba?" Dismayadong saad ni Mark.

"Pero doc? Ba't ganon ang mga nararamdaman ko?" Ako naman ang nagtatanong. Hindi ko din maitago ang lungkot.

"HAHAHAHAHA putcha! Natatawa ako sa inyong dalawa... I'm just kidding hahahaha"

"W-what?" Me/Mark

"I'm just kidding ok?... Haha.. the truth is... Congratulations! Both of you will be parents! Hahahaha"

"Seryoso na yan?" Naninigurong tanong ni Mark.

The doctor showed the picture from ultrasound. And pointed the small circle forming in the middle "Yes Mr. Tuan, see this? That's your baby. Your wife is 1 month and two weeks pregnant"

Biglang napatayo si Mark at napayakap sa doctor.

"Pre! Bitaw. Nababakla ka eh." Biro ng doctor, medyo bata pa ang doctor, ilang taon lang siguro ang pagitan nito sa amin.. Agad naman bumitaw si Mark at sakin naman yumakap.

"YES! YES! YOU'RE PREGNANT BABE! Yes! I'm a daddy!"

"Babe! Hinaan mo naman boses mo."

"I'm so happy babe!" Dagdag niya.

"Halata nga. Hahaha."

"Hindi ko inasahan na ganito pala ang isang Mark Tuan sa harap ng asawa niya. Hahaha" natatawang sabi ng doctor.

"Why? Can't I be happy?"

"Haha wala akong sinabi. So, again congrats. Take good care of your wife.. and.. comeback here after a month we still need to confirm something. I can't say it for now because I'm not sure yet."

"Ok doc."

"But if you feel weird pain or some spots. Please go here immediately ok?"
