A Home Away from Home (Ep: When Darkness Falls)

You hurried away on Nightshade with Arrow right behind you. You groaned as you saw Snotlout and Hiccup running on foot. Arrow spotted them too.

"I swear we're surrounded by Muttonheads!" You grumbled. Arrow laughed.

"You mean you are. You're like the only actual girl in the group. Even I admit we all have moments where our brains just turn off." You rolled your eyes and you both dove in to help them. Nightshade and Stormfly fired and the boars to chase them away. After that, you were all back in the air.

"Okay, so check that island off the list." Hiccup began.

"Ooh-hoo-hoo! This is so exciting! Searching the high seas for an island outpost to call our own!" Fishlegs said happily.

"Yeah, I like this idea! Move away from Berk, get my own place, away from you-know-who." Ruff said, giving a big hint to who she was talking about.

"Yeah, you're telling me, sister. I am so sick of you-know-who. He never knows when to shut up! I want him out of here!" Tuff agreed.

"Guys, let's focus, alright, we need to find an island that's safe, secure, and habitable for both us and the dragons." Hiccup said before Snotlout cut in.

"Blah, blah, blah! How many times do we have to hear that?"

"Um, until we find what we're looking for? Let's check this one out." You followed him down to look at the next island.

"This is promising so far." You said.

"Yeah! Not bad, not bad! Lots of fresh water, seems like a plentiful food supply..." Hiccup began.

"And lots of cool blue flowers!" Ruff said before sniffing them. "I'm in!"

"Wait, aren't those...?" Arrow started. Fishlegs gasped.

"Blue Oleanders, deadly poisonous to dragons."

"So...we're not staying." Tuff said before Barf and Belch fired, frightened by the flowers. You kept flying until you found another island.

"Whoa, this island is beautiful! I even like those weird dots all over the-" Fishlegs was cut off as Hiccup saw what they really were.

"Those aren't dots! They're Whispering Death holes!" The Whispering Death's on the island popped out, seemingly ready to protect it, but you all took off.

"Been there, done that." 

"Next!" Somehow you ended up back on the boar island. 

"My bad! Should've crossed this island off the list!" Fishlegs called. As you all jumped to escape, you kept going and soon you found a wonderful looking island. 

"This looks pretty good!" Hiccup said.

"Those cliffs could work! Good sight lines, easily defendable..." Arrow agreed.

"The island is big, so we have plenty of space to build and expand." You added.

"And the location is great!" Fishlegs finished.

"It's perfect!" Ruff said.

"Yeah...too perfect. I'm just saying in the immortal words of the mighty Thor: When something looks too perfect, it probably...sucks!" He said, doing an impression of Thor.

"Yeah, you know I'm pretty sure Thor never said anything remotely like that." Hiccup said.

"Oh really? How do you know? Do you know Thor? Have you talked to him recently?" Tuff asked.

"No, but-"

"Well, because I have! Hm, and I don't recall him mentioning you...Look. I just have a feeling about this place. I think we all know what happens when I get a feeling."
