Elena, Alaric, and I go to the Duke University to research Isobel's past and her studies in paranormal phenomena. We meet Isobel's assistant whom apparently knows about them, too. She shoots an arrow and I take the arrow for Elena.
As I'm leaning over a table with an arrow in the back, Elena keeps hesitating in pulling it out, as she stands behind me.
"Elena, it hurts. Just pull it out," I say through the pain.
Finally, she just pulls it out and then sets the arrow on the table. I really want to kill that assistant, but we need her help.
Later, I find that I'm right about Mason Lockwood being a werewolf.
