It isn't long before Mason tells his nephew, Tyler Lockwood, the details about the Lockwood family curse. He tells Tyler all about being a werewolf and how the gene is triggered.
Later, Mason informs Sheriff Liz Forbes that Stefan and I are vampires and she attempts to capture and kill us. She succeeds in capturing us, but Caroline and Elena come to the rescue, and Liz accidentally kills Jeremy by shooting at him when I use vamp speed to get out of range the first time she tries to kill me. Jeremy was behind me, so when I got out of the way, she accidentally shot at him instead of me. So, Bonnie used her magic to bring him back to life and it worked.
Later, when Liz got hurt and was given vampire blood, Stefan told Liz to stay in the Lockwood cellar until 24 hours was up. That's how long it takes for vampire blood to get out of a person's system. Caroline and I stayed with her until it was over with, before we could all head home.
