*The next day*

I spent the night that day. My mom came over with Aria. We ate breakfast and it was very uncomfortable. Hannah stared me down while Cecilia smiled the whole time. After eating I sat on the couch with everyone.

"So when does Jabez come home?" My mom asked.

"Oh he should be able to come home this afternoon." Cecilia said

"That's great." My mom said.

"I'm actually gonna go to the store. I'm gonna cook his favorite foods can you help?" Cecilia asked.

"Sure I'd love to. This reminds me of the old days." My mom said.

"Hannah you can set up with the kids." Cecilia said.

Hannah looked me up and down. "No I think I'd rather go check on Jabez." She said grabbing her keys.

"Oh okay." Cecilia said.

Cecilia and my mom left. Aria invited Tommy over. Andre and Don are coming later. Rocky led me to a closet with decorations. I grabbed some and started setting up in the kitchen.

"To be honest I don't even wanna do this shit." I said.

"Me neither. They're acting like it's his birthday."

I laughed. "Right." I said. I went to the living room. "Um Aria? Tommy? Are you guys gonna help?" I asked.

"No, Jabez isn't my boyfriend. Do it yourself." Aria said.

Tommy laughed. "I'll help."

"Tommmmmy." Aria said.

They got up and barely helped. They went back in the living room. Aria fell asleep and Tommy was half sleep. Rocky and I went upstairs.

I kept thinking about Jabez with that bitch Diamond. It was making me upset all over again.

"Are you good?" Rocky asked.

"Yeah definitely."

"Look don't worry about Jabez. He wasn't right for you anyways." Rocky said.

I looked down. "It's sad that I always had a crush on him. I'm so stupid. How can he like someone so crazy?" I asked.

"I don't know to be honest. Now you know how I feel." Rocky said.

I laughed. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"Come on now. You know I've always like you." Rocky said.

"Rocky..I-"

"You know I'd treat you way better then Jabez ever would." Rocky said.

I nervously laughed. "I don't know."

"Come on Asia. You know this." he said getting closer to me.

"I mean I could always tell but-"

"You wanted Jabez." He laughed. "I remember I used to write the left in your locker."

"Really?" I asked. "How sweet. I thought Jabez did that when we were young but I wasn't sure." I said laughing.

"Yeah." He laughed.

We looked into each other's eyes. We leaned in. I stopped and looked down. "Rocky I don't know." I said.

He lifted my face. "I'm different. Don't you feel something?"

I nodded. Then heard the door open. We hurried up and got up. It was Hannah. Shit.

"Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Hannah yelled.

"No it's not what it looks like." I said.

"How dare you try to fuck my other brother when you're dating Jabez?!"

"Hey what's going on?" I heard Jabez's voice.

"You might wanna come in here." Hannah said.

I heard Jabez come up. My heart was pounding. I didn't do anything but I was about to. I felt extremely guilty even though i didn't know where I stood with Jabez.

"He was just telling me about how he liked you. I was liking you again." She whispered. "You too will tell him. I'm disappointed in you Rocky. You should know better." She said.

Jabez walked in. "What's up?"

"Hey Jabez." I said awkwardly.

"Why are y'all so close? Rocky you tryna steak my girl again?" Jabez laughed.

We laughed awkwardly. "She wouldn't go for it even if I tried." Rocky said.

Jabez sat by me and put his arm around me. He kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry Asia. Nothing happened between us. I was just being too friendly."

I looked at Hannah who was staring at me in disgust. "Jabez is a good man."

"It's cool Jay." I said looking at Rocky.
