"Wait do you know Isaiah?"  Minnie asked.

Teja nodded. "But I don't talk to him. I just knew him from when they we're together."

If she wouldn't have encouraged them to be together we wouldn't have any problems.

"It's nice meet you Jabez. I saw you on Instagram."

"Yeah nice meeting you too."

Aria looked up from her phone. "This girl Devyn is about to get it. She has some nerve!"

"What did she do now?" I asked.

" She's saying we all deserve this."

"That bitch is crazy. Just like Diamond."

"Who's Devyn?" Teja asked.

I shook my head. "Old news."

The doctor and Asia's  came in. "I have some good news."

"What is it?" Asia's mom asked.

"We're going to wake her up."

"Really?" Aria asked.

The doctor nodded. "She should be waking up soon."

"Like how soon?" Aria asked.

"I'll say in the next few hours."

"Wow I finally get to see my friend again." Teja said.

"Yeah right away." Minnie said rolling her eyes.

"Mom where's Makayla?" Aria asked.

"She's in the lobby getting you guys food. Jabez do you have any eating restrictions?"

I shook my head. "No."

"I'll be back." She said.

She came back with Makayla and we ate our food. I waited holding her hand the whole time.

"Jabez we can call you back when she wakes up." Asia's mom said.

"No, I wanna be here when she wakes up." I said.

"Awe that's so sweet." Teja said.

Minnie rolled her eyes.

A few hours later

Asia was waking up. I smiled. She widened her eyes and looked around. "Oh my gosh." She said.

"Hi Asia." I said.

"My baby." Asia's mom said.

"Where am I?" Asia asked.

"You're in the hospital."

"Who are you?" Asia asked me.

I looked at the doctor. "She doesn't know who I am?"

"No I don't." Asia said.

"Her memory will come and go because of the fall." The doctor said.

I sighed and let go of her hand. I moved out the way and Aria and Makayla went up to her. She remembered their faces but not there names.The doctor asked her some questions. She didn't remember Minnie at all. I could tell she was really hurt.

"It's okay if you don't remember. You will eventually." Minnie said wiping her tears. "I'm just glad you're okay."

"I'm sorry. Marianna I will remember you." Asia said.

"My names Marianna but you call me Minnie. Everyone does." She said smiling.

"Noted." Asia said.

Teja went up to Asia. She smiled at her. "Hey girl."

"Hi....Teja. I remember you." She said.

"I knew you would. I'm wearing the last shirt you bought me and my charm bracelet." She said.

Asia laughed. "I missed you."

Teja hugged her.

They talked for a little while. Everyone left after to let me talk to her alone.

"Asia?"

"Yeah?" She asked.

"I know you don't remember me. As soon as we get out of here I'm gonna make you remember me. We're gonna do everything together." I said.

She nodded. "Okay but what happened to you?"

"Um...don't worry about me."

"No seriously I wanna know."

"I just got assaulted I'll say."

"By who?"

"Asia...don't worry about it. I wanna make sure you're okay."  I said.

"Everyone's worried about me. Like damn what happened?"

"The doctor said not to talk about it right now." I said.

"Wouldn't that help me?"

I shrugged.

"What's your name again?"

"Jabez."

"Jabez...Jabez....Jabez. Are we friends?" She asked.

"Um...we were. Since we were little. You moved to Florida. Then came back senior year. We're together. You were preg-" I stopped myself. "You were always so pretty to me."

"Well you're cute too. I'm just surprised I wouldn't remember a face like yours."

"I'll tell you some stories."

Asia nodded. "Okay maybe that will help me."

"When you first came back..."

I told her a lot of stuff. She was enjoying the stories.

"Wow...I kissed you?"

"It was a dare. I want expecting it. At all."

She laughed. "Wow."

"Are you remembering anything?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Sorry I don't. I promise I'll remember you."

I nodded.

Asia's mom came in. "Hey Jabez it's late. Why don't you go back to your room."

I nodded. "Okay. You're probably right. Goodnight....goodnight Asia."

"Goodnight Jabez."

I smiled and rolled out. I saw my nurse standing on the outside. Damn she's been here this whole time.

Aria, Makayla and Minnie came up to me.

"Hey Jay, you about to leave?" Makayla asked.

I nodded. "It's late anyways."

"Did she remember you?" Aria asked.

I shook my head.

"Damn I'm sorry Jabez....and Minnie."

"It's okay. She didn't even remember me when I first saw her at the mall."

I nodded and laughed. "Yeah that's right."

"I'm just worried about you." Minnie said.

I sighed. "I'm good."

"No your not and it's okay. Y'all went through a lot." Minnie said.

"We're here for you." Makayla said.

"I just can't believe this. I'm lost in her memories."
