chapter seven

before kennadee came over, i ordered some pizza. this past week our friendship has been growing and honestly i was happy.

to be honest, i do have a crush on her. edwin has probably told the whole school already but i could care less. but why wouldn't i have a crush on her? she's beautiful. her light curls define her facial features and her unique eye color is amazing.

i was taken out of my thoughts when the doorbell rang. i walked over and peeked through the peep hole thing. i saw kennadee looking down at her phone.

i opened the door and smiled. she looked up and flashed a quick smiled before speaking. "hey." "hola." i opened the door wider and she walked in.

she knows her way around so she made her way to the media room. i went to get some waters and went to the media room as well.

"so what kinda test do you have for history?" she asked as soon as i took a step into the room. "well you know about the time with MLK and all that commotion? well the teacher said the test is gonna evolve around that." i answered. i don't really pay attention so i don't know much.

we started studying and a few minutes later the pizza came. she spent the rest of her day at my house and we talked more than doing work.

she left around nine and i went up to my room to play video games. that night consisted of winning a few rounds and falling asleep at twelve.
