chapter eighteen

my awesome vacation soon came to an end when my sister was already packing to leave. i have not been in school this past week because leah was here and i'm not mad about it.

i got her stuff and put it in the back seat of my car as she said bye to my parents. they cried a little and told her to come back as soon as she could but with her working for simon cowell, that's quite hard.

"you ready." i asked her as i got my keys out of the holder. she nodded her head before going into the garage and plugging her phone in the aux.

"play something good please. no sad shit." i smile at her "as always k." she smiled back before rolling down her window and blasting "don't" by bryson tiller.

we took the long way to the airport which cause us to go through much more neighborhoods, zions being one of them. he hasn't talked to me since i last asked him to hang out and i've just gone with it.

tomorrow was the day i was going back to school and i sadly have to deal with him. rumor has it that he has been messing around with the school hoe that i saw him with but i could honestly care less. okay i take that back.

as we passed his neighborhood i looked at his house and saw a girl walking into her car. since i was driving by i only got a glimpse but her car did look familiar. it wasn't the same girl from the coffee shop though

i shook it off and just made my way to where i was supposed to go. as soon as we made it to the airport i got out the car quickly to say bye. i looked at my beautiful sister as my eyes started getting watery and she pulled me into a hug. it felt really good to be honest.

"as soon as you graduate come live with me. mom said she wouldn't mind" she whispered into my ear before pulling away and telling me she loves and will miss me.

"i love you." was all i said before getting back in my car and driving home. i was stuck in traffic when the noise of my ringtone filled the car.

"hello?" i said "hey baby girl" his soft voice echoed through the car. i smiled as i asked what's up.
"i saw your car drive by my house earlier, is everything going alright?"
"yes, caleb. everything is ok i was just driving my sister to the airport."
"that's why you've been gone huh?"
"yeah."
"alright babygirl. i was just checking on you. my mom wants me downstairs so i'll call you tonight?"
"you do that. bye z."
"bye k."

the 3 beeps go off and i sighed to myself for thinking about how stupid i was. that guy has me so wrapped around his finger, it's not even funny.
