(A/n): y'all get ready for a update spam, okay? 😂

========================

(Y/n)'s POV:

Mornings aren't my thing to be honest. When I wake up, I'm NEVER in a good mood. To make things worse, I wake up with air blown into my face by a certain young air bender. "(Y/n)! It's time for breakfast!" Yelled Meelo at the top of his lungs. I just moaned In frustration and rolled over. It took everything I had in me to not punch the kid right now. Love this kid to death, but he sure can be annoying sometimes. He repeatedly kept shooting air balls at my back. Finally I sighed and gave up.

"Alright alright, I'm up!" I say and put my hands up in defeat. He just gave me a huge smile and walked to the door. "When you're ready, come down before there's no breakfast left!" He chucked as he walked away.

As I walk towards the table, I'm greeted by Korra and Tenzin. "Well look who's finally out of bed!" Said Tenzin. I jokingly rolled my eyes. "I thought that you weren't allowed to sleep in like that, considering you're a Princess, right?" Said Korra. Too tired to say anything back, I just nodded.

Korra picks up a news paper right next to her and starts reading it out loud. "And in the final round the buzzard wasps (A/n please excuse my spelling for this part) won with a decisive knockout!" Said Korra as she stared wide-eyed at the paper and smiled.

"What do you say we go to the arena tonight and catch a few pro-bending matches?" Korra said excitedly. To be honest, I really want to see pro bending in action. Clearly I've never seen it in real life, I've only heard about it on the radio. "Sounds like fun!" I said excitedly. Korra gave me a high-five.

"That....sport is a mockery of the noble tradition of bending." Tenzin said calmly. "Come on Tenzinnn! I've dreamed about seeing a pro-bending match since I was a kid, and now just just a ferry ride from the arena!" Korra said as she pointed to the golden building across the water. "I've always wanted to see one too! You have no idea how hard it is to be locked up in a castle all your life!" I said pleadingly.

"Korra, (Y/n), you guys are not here to watch that drivel. Korra, you're here to finish your avatar training. And (Y/n), you're here to-" He stared at me with a confused look on his face. "Wait, what are you even doing here? Do your parents even know you're here?" Said Tenzin as he stared wide-eyed at me. I just shrugged my shoulders. "(Y/n), we're talking about this later." Tenzin said as he shot me a disappointing glare. I just looked down and frowned.

"Anyways, Korra, for the time being, I want you to remain on the island." Tenzin said sternly. "Is that why you're keeping the white lotus centuries around to watch my every move?" Korra said mockingly. "Yes. In order to learn air-bending, I believe you require a calm, quiet environment, free from any distractions. Tenzin then looks at me. "I sincerely hope that the Princess doesn't cause any distractions, and I'm sure she'll be gone soon based on what I've heard."

I gasp. "What do you know?" I said with wide eyes. "I know you ran away from home. Your parents are worried sick about you! Why did you run away?" Asked Tenzin. I sighed. "I just wanted to be free, even if it was for a little bit." I said sincerely. Tenzin sighed. "Listen, (Y/n), we all have duties to complete. I am on the Council, Korra's the Avatar, and you're next in line after your mother to be The next Fire Lord. You need to take responsibility and grow up!" Said Tenzin.

I looked at him straight in the eyes. "Tenzin, I know you mean well, but I need to explain myself. I never had a childhood. My WHOLE childhood was me preparing to be the next Fire Lord. I never got to play outside like most kids, I don't even really have friends period. I haven't even had a boyfriend unlike most girls my age!" I vented to Tenzin, clearly super upset. Tenzin sighed again.

"Look, (Y/n), I'm sure your stay won't be long here, but how about this. You can go explore the city while Korra remains here to focus on her Air-bending." Korra was NOT happy about what he just said. "How come she gets to go explore while I'm stuck in the island?" Korra whined. "Because, she isn't the avatar, and she doesn't have to learn airbending." Tenzin said, thinking it was obvious. Korra just rolled her eyes.

"See you guys later!" I said happily. "Wait! (Y/n), grab a cloak, I don't want anyone recognizing the Princess. That'll bring nothing but trouble!" Tenzin yelled to me. I nodded. "Bye Tenzin, bye Korra!" I said happily. Korra waved, but clearly she was disappointed. I gave her a look and moved my head towards the arena. "Tonight, let's go." I mouthed to her. I covered my mouth so that Tenzin couldn't see. Korra nodded. Her mood instantly lit up, and Tenzin gave me a questionable look. I hurried out the door before he could ask me any questions.

I grabbed a cloak from my room, and went to go grab (P/n). "Let's go, (P/n)!" I yelled as we walked to the dock to wait for the boat. Little did I know something would happen on this trip to the city that I'd never forget.
