I was the kid always hidden in the back,quiet yet smart. I just hated being the center of attention. But that all changed because of him. I was sitting in the music room with my guitar playing one of my favorite songs by Taylor Swift, I Knew You Were Trouble. Some how this song reminded me of my crush,Xavier Schiller,the school bad boy.

"You know your a really good singer right?" A voice suddenly asked me. I gasped in shock as I turned to owner of said voice. Xavier. "H-how much of that did you hear?" I asked him stuttering. He smirked that infamous smirk of his. "All of it." He answered. "You should sign up for the talent show next week." I shook my head so hard it made me dizzy. "Oh hell no. That ain't going happen,not with my stage fright." The boy smirked again and walked away. Next week rolled around and the principal was calling out names of the people in the show. "[Y/N][L/N]" was called. "What the?" I muttered softly as I headed to the office. The bus took us to the theater where the show was taking place. "I don't sign up though." I told the teacher hosting the event. "I signed you up." That voice. I turned to see Xavier standing there. "Schiller!" I shouted. "But why?" The curly-haired boy smiled softly for the first time. "You're selfish to hide your gift from the world,now go you're up next." He said. I wanted to punch him but grabbed my guitar instead and headed on to the stage. I took a deep breath as I sat on the stool. "Here go nothing." I muttered softly as I started singing.

I strummed a few cords and looked up even though I was afraid. I'm glad I did because there in the front row singing along with me was my crush. I smiled softly knowing he had my back. I smiled at him and continued.

The crowd erupted with applause as I left the stage. "You were amazing." Xavier said as I joined him in the front row. "I guess so." I said as we watched the rest of the acts. "And that concludes the 4th Annual Talent Show of Alia Academy." The host said. "And the winner of this year competition is......Drum roll please." The audience began the drum roll and the winner was announced. ".......[Y/N][L/N]!!" I was stunned, too stunned to move. "Go!!" Xavier said as he pulled me out of my seat and up to the stage. "So [Y/N],how do you feel?" The host asked. A shy laugh left my lips. "Scared honestly. I didn't even want to sign up but somebody went behind my back and signed up for me." I said. "Hey it's because you are an amazing singer and you were hiding your gift from the people." Xavier spoke up. "[Y/N] you're amazing in everything you do and I know the timing couldn't be worst but I wanted to ask you if you could be my girlfriend?" I gasped and stumbled back a step. "Xavier....I...I....Yes!" I said as I pulled him into a bear hug. He chuckled softly as we pulled away from the hug. "Kiss!Kiss!Kiss!" The crowd chanted and he smirked. "Shall we?" He asked. "We shall." I said as he pulled me into a sweet and gentle kiss.
