Chapter 17

I told Chloe everything that had happened between me and Jake. She kept telling me she knew it it and many other stuff. She also said that we were the perfect couple and something else but I stopped paying attention because all I could think about was Jake!

I sighed happily.

What's wrong? Are you really that happy?

"Maybe!" I giggled.

Girl, you are so in love!

"I know!" I said.

So, when's your first actual date?

"Now!" I said when I heard the doorbell ring. "I'll fill you in later!"

I hung up and fixed myself. I was wearing a sky blue dress with a white lace and white heels so I'd look a little taller.

I opened up the door and stading in the doorway was the most handsome handsome guy ever! Oh wait! He was my boyfriend! 

"Hey, beautiful!" he said hugging me tightly.

"Ready to go?" 

"Of course!" I said.

For our date, we went to the movies. He had chosen a horror movie. I told him I was terrified of those, but during the whole movie he held onto me tightly so I wouldn't be to scared. Then he took me out to dinner. While I was eating, he told me I was dressed perfectly that I could've been an angel. As always, I blushed at his words.

After the dinner, we went on a walk under the moonlight.

"Wow, who knew the moon could be this beautiful?" I said looking up at the moon.

"Not as beautiful as you!" said Jake while staring at me.

He inched closer and kissed me on my forehead. 

"Hey, Jake!" I said ruining the moment.

"Yeah?" he said.

"Will you stay with me forever?" I asked.

"Probably!" he laughed.

"Not funny!" I said pouting.

"Look I want to stay with you forever, but no one knows how long we'll stay together!" he said.

"True!" I said sadly.

He lifted my chin so I could look him straight in the eyes. 

"I just want to stay together as long as we can!" he said with a smile that melted my heart.

"Knowing that is enough for me!" I said.

"Good! Now I believe I was promised a walk?" he said holding out his hand.

I put mine in his and we walked around for hours until I was too tired to walk. He carried me back home and he placed me gently onto my bed.

"G'night, Carrie!" he said

"Night!" I said laying down.

He smiled and exited my room. I quickly dialed Chloe's number and filled her in on everything. After I had done so, I fell asleep and dreamt sweet and wonderful dreams!
