-Quote: 'Not necessity; not desire---No...the love of power is the demon of Men...Let them have everything; health, food; a place of entertainment...They are, and remain unhappy, and low spirited; for the demon waits and waits, and will be satisfied', unquote,-Frederick Nietzsche, (1844-1900).

James walked down the red, fiery hallway.

Up ahead, four lamps illumed on the black colored walls.

Suddenly he heard the sound of footsteps; loud footsteps.

A gust of hellish wind blew from the North, as if Hell was coming upwards, knocking James down. He screamed, as he saw a woman gliding towards him.

She wore a long, black dress.

Her neckline was short; her sleeves was short as well.

She also was wearing short, black lace gloves.

And black mitts that covered her small fingers.

Her huge breasts went up and down in perfect rhythm.

And she wore black boots on her small feet.

Her eyes were red, and her hands were claws.

"And what brings a human to Demonean Manor? I am Lady Edwina Demonean...And you are?", Lady Demonean asked, as she gripped a pitchfork in her right hand, that was glowing from the furnace, as if she wanted to burn the human intruder if he so attacked her.

"I am M'Lady James Maygrove. I am exploring the Manor for Sir Charles Harringford told me that you have fine jewels..." James begun, before the Lady answered.

"Are you a thief?" Lady Demonean enquired.

"Nay M'Lady, I collect things" James admitted.

"How did you get pass the guards?" Lady Demonean said.

"I heard the sound of ringing bells...And the doors opened M'Lady" said James, "and the door was ajar...then I went inside after I walked up the cobbled steps" he added.

"No human has ever, and I mean ever, been admitted that way. Obviously, this must be addressed immediately" Lady Demonean said.

"Are you going to kill me M'Lady?" James asked.

"That will draw too much attention to us James. You will be staying here. Take a seat on the black sofa to the right. I'll bring some Tea. If you leave-I'll kill you" Lady Demonean said.

           "Yes, M'Lady" James said.

            The front door banged open.

James bowed, then sat down on the black colored sofa.

And, for the first time in an hour or so, he rested his tired feet.

            And vowed to remain alive.

Because, if he died, his purpose of going to the Manor was all for nothing.
