-Foeslayer-
Foeslayer never felt so happy. She's got on the same page as her son. They've settled things down, now Foeslayer understood everything. Everything her son had told her of course. We were going to defeat this monstrosity. Nothing could stop them now.
Foeslayer smiled even happier as she saw the giant's shocked and scared expression.
"You?" he growled slowly. Pointing the shadowy figure of the son of Foeslayer.
"Me,"
"How!! I was sure you were dead. I saw you die, your soul was sucked away in that last piece of your cursed scroll. Your soul was stuck, I made sure of it!" the giant screamed angrily.
"I guess not," the son of Foeslayer shrugged and grinned.
Foeslayer held her grounds, she was ready to attack anytime.
"Now," her son cried, lunging to his half-brother claws out. Foeslayer leaped at the monster alongside her son who was already clawing viciously.
Without a second thought, Foeslayer saw the rainwing, Kinkajou bounding, claws and fangs out ready to fight. Moon looked stunned before getting up and joining the mess of a fight.
Turtle however stopped and stood in shock before finally jumping awkwardly into the fight.
Foeslayer dodged and fought back, Qibli's unconscious body appeared in her view many times. That was one of the things that made her continue fighting for blood. Foeslayer had grown very fond of Moonwatcher. After everything, Foeslayer thought she did deserve to be happy.
Winter stabbed Darkstalker with his sharp icewing talons. Finally decided to join us?
"There's those blueish gems. Get those out of his scales he enchanted them!!" The son of Foeslayer yelled as sapphires fell to the ground. Ever time on gem fell Darkstalker seemed to weaken. Foeslayer clawed the precious rocks so they would fall as Darkstalker twisted weakening by the minute.
Turtle was still trying to break his first one. I guess he isn't the best fighter or the strongest dragon, Foeslayer thought to herself.
"No! You can't do this to me!!" He yelped in a strangled voices. His moves were slowing down. He was loosing strength. A lot of strength.
Foeslayer jerked a gem out of his dark scales. It was probably the last, because Darkstalker immediately collapsed and started breathing heavily. Qibli's breathing was starting to steady. Transferring life forces? What a weird day, Foeslayer thought with a frown.
Qibli's eyes opened in shock. Moon was sobbing so hard, hugging him. Qibli seemed so confused, but hugged her back.
"You we're dying!! Why are you always trying to scare me to death? Qibli! You scared me so much! You...you...!!" Moon yelled more tears falling down. Qibli smiled and kissed her cheek.Does he remember anything? What does he remember? Can we trust him? What actually happened?
"This isn't the end, you can't!" The son of Vigilance growled with uneasiness.
His body started shimmering. The light faded and instead of a giant dragon lay a skinny, black and blue scaled nightwing. His eyes looked faded and lost. His breathing stoped. He was dead.
"What...who is that?" Turtle managed to say in the stunned silence.
"That's Starsign, son of Vigilance, cursed prince." Darkstalker says with narrowed eyes.
"And why should we believe you?" Winter snapped. The first time he's talked in a long time.
"You don't have to," Darkstalker says lowering his head.
"I'm just going to tell you anyways. He's the son of Vigilance and Arctic. He had animus powers. He lived, hiding his whole life, I guess he got rebellious and killed his own mother once the NightWings moved to the volcano. He left and started his new life. His own life. By shapeshifting. Each sapphire represents one of his lives." Darkstalker started gesturing the big pile of blue gemstones. There was about more then a hundred stones in there, Foeslayer decided."He changed his tribe, name and gender every life. Like reincarnating, kind of. You may know him as Chameleon too. You know Peril's father?"
"How is that possible?" Moon asked. Foeslayer could tell no one really believed Darkstalker. They all feared him.
"Chameleon had animus magic, it didn't come from my scroll. He knew that scroll was mine and that will free me, so he kept it. He pretended to use it by enchanting pieces of scrolls and kept mine intact so my powers wouldn't get to me. He's a pretty good actor isn't he?" Darkstalker says.
"That doesn't explain anything!" Winter howled angrily, ready to fight.
"Oh yes, it does Winter. You see Starsign was also known as Whirlpool of the seawings. He found my scroll near a island in the Sea kingdom, all because of Fathom! He took my scroll, faked his death by making Anemone 'kill' him!" Darkstalker explained frustrated at the thought of his ex-best friend.
"How? Whirlpool? But Whirlpool didn't have powers!" Turtle gasped before taking a step back.
"I told you he was a good actor! He was also Oasis of the Sandwings! He took over the throne by changing his gender and killed the former queen with animus magic. Then faked his death by getting 'killed' by scavenger when he got bored of his role. I mean do you really believe scavengers killed a 'mighty' Sandwing?" Darkstalker growled.
"That doesn't explain how he got three daughter!" Qibli howled with a scared frown as if Darkstalker might kill him.
"Animus magic! Another sapphire! More magic! And since his spells weren't 'evil' he didn't lose a lot of his soul! Now do you understand?" Darkstalker yelled with annoyance before he started started shimmering too.
"I guess this was my destiny. To explain the mysteries of the past. To explain the lies of Starsign. My destiny wasn't to rule the world. Mother, I understand now, when I see father, when I see Clearsight, I'll tell them I'm sorry. I love you mom," Darkstalker said softly. Foeslayer saw tears in his eyes, his form was turning transparent.
"I love you too, Darkstalker," Foeslayer replied in a whisper hugging where Darkstalker was.
Sorry it took so long to update. I hope you enjoy!
