Crystal walked over to Winter, who was training Hunter, his scavenger. He looked way happier than when she first met him at the Ice kingdom many moons ago. I was a cold day even for icewings. I was barely 2 moons old? I saw him hunting. He was one of the many crushes I had. I never thought I'd actually have him for myself. I thought him as untouchable, flawless, handsome, not my level, just like Hailstorm, another of my childhood crushes.

Looking back, it's pretty awkward. Trying to get next to one of them.

Crystal remembered only one icewing that told her he liked her. An icewing called Freeze. Was it Freeze? They dated for a while before Crystal got bored. He wasn't even good looking. Wonder whatever happened to him.

Crystal ended up getting bored of the ice kingdom. Her parents had died in the battle against the nightwings with the Darkstalker. Crystal didn't bother. They were a pain anyway. They were never there as if she wasn't their daughter. So, good for them. Crystal didn't care.

The more she stayed in the icy palace, the more she hated it. Everything was ranked. Ranking. Ranking.

No first circle dragonet talked about other things. Just ranking. It sucks. All the same. Ranks. Ranks. Ranks.

I finally fled. I left a letter for Queen Snowfall. Just so Crystal doesn't get on the criminal list.

She left for Possibility. Now was after the war so here where various tribes of dragons. There would be hybrids everywhere. Love spread like crazy. Different tribes. The second generation of hybrids. It was cool to see. All the different appearances and scale colours. Either it turned out overly beautiful or crazy weird and ugly.

She lived there for almost 4 moons. It was nice. A simple and easy.

She eventually ventured into a sanctuary for scavengers and met Winter.

Crystal was avoiding him but wanted to stay with him. Her old buried feelings were surfacing.

The first day I saw him, he saw me. I don't think he remembered me because he ignored me. Crystal knew he saw her but she didn't know why he ignored her. Many weeks past until Crystal got her confidence back and talked to Winter. He was pretty salty.

She stayed with him. Talking. Watching. Helping.

Winter started smiling after more than a month or so. He was really handsome to look at.

After 5 moons in a close relationship, Crystal proposed. A sweet proposal with candles and a meal. What men should be the one proposing? She thought not. No one should be thinking that. Girls are capable too. We are not weak.

Now,  Crystal would be telling Winter; that he will be a father.

"Winter!" she exclaimed walking over.

"Yes?" he smiles turning to face her.

"Guess what?"

"What?" he asks pulling closer in curiosity.

"Guess what?" Crystal repeats in his ears like a whisper.

"What?"

"Guess what?" she repeats again lowering her voice.

"What?"

"You're going to be a father!" Crystal whispers with a smile.

"Seriously?" he asked with a shocked expression. He looked so cute.

Crystal hugged him. Their scales touched. She couldn't say it was nice and warm like most romantic scrolls described.
