-Moonwatcher-
Qibli has either saved them all or seriously doomed them for eternity. Moon, however, went with the plan, she fully trusted Qibli with her life. If they failed and died, they'll die together.
She felt the strength and courage come back to her as she touched Qibli's scales. His scales were hot as in a warm and comforting at the touch.
She watched as Darkstalker threw tables and cussing at walls. She watched trying very hard not to show the fear in her eyes. She turned to look at Qibli to feel her blood calm down again.
"Start, what are you're ideas, sandwing," Darkstalker hissed making sandwing sound like a poison in his mouth.
"We want to see our friends here, now, safe and unharmable," Moon said so Qibli could have more time to think about an escape. They had been really good at understanding what the other one needed. More space. Some time. A hug. A kiss.
Now what Qibli needed was time. So Moon kept Darkstalker talking so Qibli could think.
"You are the two worst dragons, ever!" the monster replied snapping his fingers with a mad sneer on his face.
The room was shone by a bright light. A blinding light.
Moon's eyes finally got used to the light as it dimmed at the same time.
Stood next to her were her friends. They looked shocked. Winter had tears sliding down his icy cheek. Kinkajou looked like she wanted to cry. Turtle seemed the most shaken and his face was unreadable.
"Kinkajou!" Moon cried hugging her friend tightly. Tears flow down both their cheeks. Moon smiled. She has never been so happy to see Kinkajou in her whole life. When Darkstalker made her prisoner in his stupid little rooms, she thought that she would die without ever seeing the funny rainwing ever.
"Moon? You said I was annoying and useless, you didn't want me anymore, you left me alone, Moon," Kinkajou chocked, spilling out everything along with the glistening tears on her colourful scales.
"I'm sorry, I promise, I'm sorry," Moon mumbled into Kinkajou's ear. She spoke from her heart. She was sorry, she left Kinkajou in her nightmare, the only thing in mind was Qibli.
How could she have done that? Love turns you blind, the positive and negative way.
"I'm fine, I'm okay," Kinkajou announced after a few seconds of crying in Moon's shoulder. Her scales shifted briefly from dark red to yellow and back again.
"Turtle, are you okay? Turtle?" Moon asked several times while Kinkajou checked on Winter.
Turtle's scales flashed, his eyes were filled with fear and panic. He walked over to Kinkajou and hugged her. Moon could Hi see the tears run down his cheek and wings flutter around the rainwing protectively.
Moon turned to Winter as Qibli tried to talk his way through his own deal.
"Winter are you okay?" Moon asked as Winter turned not meeting her gaze. His tears stopped rolling down his face, but they weren't completely dry either.
Winter didn't reply, his face changed from uninterested to anger.
"Winter?" Moon asked again. Winter shoot Moon an angry look as if aiming her for all his problems. Moon understood the message, 'Leave me alone!'. It was clear as a sunny day.
Moon left him do be, silently apologizing for being with Qibli.
Why was she apologizing? It's not her fault Winter acted like a stupid empty-headed dragon he is. It's his problem he has to listen to his crazy family. So why was Moon feeling sorry?
