New Boy [Daniel Seavey]

Daniel didn't come. 

Am I shocked? No. Am I disappointed? Kind of, but it gave me time to do my homework and eat. Now it's two in the morning and I'm studying for French. I'm halfway through the first page of what I need to study and my phone buzzes.

From Daniel: I'm at your front door :)

I set my phone on my desk and go to the front door. I open it and stand there. "You now choose to come to my house at two am?" 

He smiles, "nice to see you too."

"Yes, Daniel. Hi. How are you? What have you been doing since I left Thomas's?" I ask with a flat tone.

"I'm fine. And I've been making this plan."

"Plan for what?" 

"Can I come in first?" 

I step aside and let him in. I close the door and turn around. "Okay, what is your amazing plan?" 

"Well since you're single and I'm single and we have this amazing connection... Why don't we just get together?"

I laugh, "we are not going to be each others rebounds."

"Why not?"

"We just got out of breakups like today," I say walking into my kitchen.

Daniel follows, "I know, but still."

"Friends." 

"For how long?"

"For now."

"How long is that?"

I turn and look him in the eye. "Until I know how much of you I want to handle. Until I know if I'm ready to go through all the bullshit. Until I know if I'm ready for all the amazing firsts and little dates and the complete falling for you moments."

"So friends until you think you're ready to fall in love?" I nod. "Okay, I'll wait," he whispers before grabbing my sides and pulling me in for a kiss.

lmao, I fell for my best friend and attempted to become friends with the chick he's with but she a lil crazy and yeah it didn't work out. but I haven't talked to him all day and I'm kinda scared he's gonna leave me, or like choose her over me.
