New Boy [Daniel Seavey]

Me and Phillip have been dating for two weeks and they've been pretty fucking dope. We've gone to the beach a lot and we've had a few sleepovers and you know Ma likes him. And he actually goes to my school, like how did I not notice that before?

"So what's the move after school?" Phillip asks as we sit down across from Bailey and Daniel. 

"Girls day. Me and Bailey." 

Phillip looks at me with a puzzled look, "every few months me and Bailey have a day to ourselves without phones. Just us girls.." I laugh. "Girls day, kinda doesn't need a explanation."

Daniel makes a sound that I don't know how to describe, but then says: "Don't worry man. Me and you can hangout." 

Phillip smiles, "yeah okay. What are we gonna do today Daniel?"

"I was thinking about hitting the gym." 

Phillip nods, "yeah lets start with that." 

Me and Bailey look at each other then burst out laughing. "Since when do either of you guys go to the gym?" I ask through laughs.

Daniel face hardens, "I've always gone to the gym Ashlyn, you've always been to distracted to noticed." 

I stop laughing and comment back, "yeah my distraction is pretty big." I raise an eyebrow, but Daniel falls silent as the bell rings for us to return to class.

I say bye to Phillip and that I'll see him at the end of seventh and then I tell Bailey I'll be waiting at my car for her after school.

Five minutes before the bell rings Daniel taps my arm. "What was lunch about?" 

"What do you mean?" I ask not looking up from my worksheet.

"The whole 'yeah my distraction is pretty big' comment?"

I laugh causing a few kids to stare. "It was just a comment I guess."

"But what did it mean?" 

I drop my pencil and look up at him, "Daniel it meant nothing."

"Oh." 

I look at him, "why do you look so sad about it?"

"I'm not." 

Mhm okay Daniel Seavey.

I'm trying to post a lot right now because I have exams coming up and i know i wont be posting. and i don't think what i'm writing is trash, but like idek. but not like anyones going to ask, but Phillip is based off one of my guy best friends lol. but you know what? life is really tough right now, like one of my best friends that ive known for years switched up on me randomly and i really had feelings for him and he knew and it never bothered him but then he just kinda left me without any context. not like anyone even cares anyhow the next chapter is just gonna be some straight bs.

and if youre looking for more music to listen to besides like wdw, shawn mendes, billie eilish, charlie puth, post malone, Khalid, and Sabrina carpenter... listen to a boogie wit da hoodie, trippie redd, nba youngboy. they make good music. lol i basically just named all of my favorite artists sksk. its currently 3:58 a.m. and i keep going between watching alex meyers on youtube, to listening to music, to writing, to trying to sleep, eating, and then repeating.
