Messed up

After hours of sitting in front of the TV, I picked up the remote and pressed pause.

"What's wrong?"

Jennie asked.

I turned towards her, my lips pursed.

"Unnie, you've been frowning at the screen for some time already. I think we should stop for today."

She opened her mouth to protest, but then grimaced in surrender.

I smiled and went through all the proper motions of shutting the TV down. I didn't want Jennie forcing herself when she should be resting.

I rose to my feet and stretched my limbs, Jennie-unnie did the same. The sky outside was already orange. Time flew so fast.

"What do we do now?"

Jennie was touching her neck while blinking at the black screen. I quirked one corner of my lips when she glanced at me.

"Rest?"

I suggested.

Jennie pouted.

"But I don't wanna sleep yet, it's just five- oh. Wait a minute. We can play with Dalgom and Kuma!"

Jennie forgot all about her whining and grinned.

Aww. She looks so adorable with that gummy smile especially since her hair is in a top knot bun. Ohh. Cute! Jisoo was so right. Jennie-unnie is a mandeu.

"And you."

She pointed a finger at me. I blinked.

"You said you were working on a song, you can work on it now if you want to."

Jennie put her hands on her hips and sighed.

"I feel bad that I'm messing with your work. It's probably going to be hard to write while someone's playing with dogs."

I laughed and hooked our arms together.

"Actually, I don't mind. It's a great idea."

I dragged us both to the bedroom.

Jisoo's bedroom was bigger than the living room, even without considering the bathroom. It was because the room served as a study, a library, and a computer room, along with being a bedroom.

One-third of one wall had her wardrobe, the rest was a ceiling high shelf full of books.

I never actually believed someone could own that many books.

Then she had two desks. A work desk, empty save for the stationary filled with pens. And a sturdy looking customized computer desk for her PC, complete with all the necessary computer accessories and this wicked looking computer swivel chair with an actual footrest. Everything looked high end.

It was scary actually, she had three monitors, and the black and violet theme made the whole set appear sinister.

Everything was scarily neat and tidy, there was a clear line between each space. The only reminders of Jisoo's playful personality were the dozen of Pikachu stuffed toys on the bed, the whole row of manga and manhwa on the shelf, and the bright neon pens in her stationary.

Oh, her bedroom served as a playroom too for the dogs, I guess.

Dogs because Jisoo only has Dalgom, but there were two dog beds at one corner.

Jisoo's prepared for Kuma, Jennie stays over a lot.

Dalgom and Kuma were taking turns getting treats by putting their paws down on the pedal of the dog treat dispenser. They were lying down, lazily stuffing themselves.
