Alonzo stood in the family room while all the others sat down. He looked around at each of them while clearing his voice. "Now listen to me and listen very good. We will not be having this conversation again after today. All this bickering y'all got going on is gonna stop.

I don't know what the issue is with Jalisha and Amira but y'all better get that shit together. You are my wife and you are my daughter. And I refuse to see y'all going back and forth." Alonzo said pacing the floor.

"And another thing Jalisha. What you are not gonna do is come for Amira nor Kwan. We are not in any position to call the kettle black when we was doing the same thing that Kwan did." Alonzo said as he looked at Jalisha in her face.

Jalisha didn't like how he was talking to her and was about to say something. But before she could get any words out Alonzo cut her off. "Hell nah don't say shit. I'm talking now." Alonzo said angry.

"Now this family is gonna be a damn family. We have been through too damn much for a nut here and there to ruin this family. Now Amira I know you are hurt and I get that. But Kwan talked to me today.

And he told me he cut things off with Zoe. She threatened him behind it." Alonzo explained. "Wait that bitch threatened you Kwan?" Amira said sitting up on the edge of her chair.

"Yeah but I'm not worried about that. All I want is my baby and my kids. I'm so sorry for all I've done Amira please believe me." Kwan said. "Nah fuck that what did she say to you?" Amira said in a pissed off tone.

"Baby it's not important just know I'm here and I want you and only you." Kwan said trying to change the subject. "Kwan don't make me. What did she say to you and I want to know right damn now." Amira said walking in his face.

Kwan took a deep breath and ran his hands down his face. "She said if I cut her off and walk out her door I will regret it." Kwan said. "And what did you do?" Amira asked. "I'm here ain't I? Hell I left. I told her don't call or text me unless it's about the baby." Kwan added.

"See what you have caused? What if she's crazy like Jason was? What if she comes after me or the kids for that matter?" Amira said.

"Baby I'm not gonna let that girl come after you or my kids. We are ok. If things get weird I will most definitely put a restraining order on her ass." Kwan said assuring her.

"So all I'm saying is am I ok? Are we ok? I love you and I don't want to loose my family. Please Amira forgive me. I'll do anything." Kwan pleaded.

"Anything huh?" Amira said. "Anything baby just name it." Kwan said. Alonzo and Jalisha sat there and listened to them talk back and forth and wondered what Amira was gonna say.

"Well I want to get married now. If you love me the way you say and want to be a family. Prove it by marrying me today." Amira said. Kwan looked at Alonzo with a puzzled look on his face.

"You want me to marry you today? What about the wedding that we planning for later this year?" Kwan asked puzzled to what brought this on.

"Don't worry about that. We will still do that. But if you love me the way you say you will have a private wedding and put a ring on my finger now." Amira said with her hands on her hips.

"So let me get this straight. For Kwan to prove he wants only you, you want him to marry you? That's stupid as hell Amira. You sound desperate." Jalisha said.

"You know what sorry daddy but this needs to be said. Mind your damn business. You ruined Kwans mother and dads marriage and now you want to tell me what to do with mine relationship. And that's not gonna happen." Amira said standing in her mom face.

Jalisha closed the space between them and got real personal with Amira. "Girl don't get your ass slapped fucking with me. I'm your damn mother and you gonna talk to me like it." Jalisha said pointing her finger in Amira's face.

"Wait a minute now y'all cut this shit out. I told you I'm not having y'all do this." Alonzo said. Kwan walked up to Amira and grabbed her back. "Baby if that's what you want you got it. And Jalisha don't come for my baby cause you fucked my mom husband." Kwan snapped back.

"Who the hell you talking to like that little boy?" Jalisha said. "I'm talking to you. I'm sick of your ass. I have had respect for you out of strength for Amira, dad, and my kids. But you pushing me too far with this shit." Kwan said.

"Hold on now Kwan take that tone out of your voice and respect your mother." Alonzo said. "Man come on that is not my mother. My mother is dead and gone. No one will
Replace her. And she never liked me from birth so why should I respect her?" Kwan said.

"You know what all of y'all can get the hell out my house how about that." Jalisha said. "You ain't throwing nobody out my house and you can shut up." Alonzo said.

"You know what dad it's cool. We about to go anyway. I got a wedding to attend. I'm marrying Kwan today and that's that. If you want to come daddy you can but mom you are not invited so don't even come." Amira said.

"I can come wherever I want to come." Jalisha said snapping back at Amira. "No you can't. And if you show up at the court house I will have your ass arrested." Amira said forcefully.

"You wouldn't!" Jalisha shouted. "Try me and I'll show you better than I can tell you. Dad is the twins ok here or do I need to take them with me?" Amira asked.

"No baby they fine. I'll bring them to the court and bring them back here afterwards."
Alonzo said. Amira and Kwan said their goodbyes and walked out the door.
