The Aftermath (Final Series of Deception)

Jalisha and Zoe

After Zoe hung the phone up she looked at Jalisha and shook her head. "You happy now?" She said with tears coming down her cheeks. "Oh shut that shit up. You act like that is the end of you two." She snapped.

"Jalisha you are ruining my chances with Kwan. I want him to come back to me not hate me." Zoe said. "Child please. You don't have no faith do you?" Jalisha said sitting down on the couch.

"Faith? Let's try luck. You have your family. I don't. My man just married the other woman." Zoe said crying. "Again shut up. I know what I'm doing. Just stick with the plan and you will have him." Jalisha said.

"And what makes you so sure? You heard what he said. He ain't stun me." Zoe said rubbing her stomach. "Like I said stick with the damn plan." Jalisha stood up and grabbed her purse.

"If he changes his number I will get it for you. But it's got to be a certain way that you contact him. Now this is the next move. Wait about 30 minutes and call him back breathing hard. Tell him you are having pains and don't know what's wrong." Jalisha said.

"Make sure you are crying and sounding extra sad. That will get him over here. And when he get here make him baby you. Once you get him in a vulnerable stake, pounce on his ass. Do you understand me?" Jalisha asked.

Zoe just sat there and didn't say anything. "Do I make myself clear Zoe?" Jalisha said. "Yeah I got it. But let me ask you this. What if this all blow up in our face?" She asked.

"In our face? Now baby that's where you are wrong. It ain't no we. I told you I'm not to be mentioned nowhere. And if you disclose me you will regret this for the rest of your miserable life. Do I make that clear?" Jalisha asked in her face.

"Crystal clear." Zoe said. Jalisha pats her check and says "good girl now walk me to my car." She said walking towards the door. Jalisha and Zoe walked to the car and Jalisha got in and let the window down. "Now when you finish the rest of the plan text me on the other phone." She instructed.

"Fine. And I will also put my plan in progress too." She snapped back. Jalisha gave her a look that could kill. "You will not do no such of thing. And if I find out that you are, well just know I'll be back and it won't be nice." She said rolling up the window and pulled out the yard.

Zoe watched her leave the neighborhood and she walked back in the house. Zoe thought to herself "what the hell have I gotten myself into?" Zoe waited the time she was told and called Kwan. The phone rung a few times before he answered.

"What do you want Zoe?" Kwan yelled in the phone. All he heard was screaming and crying on the other line. Kwan got scared and called her name. "Zoe wassup what's going on?" He asked scared. She didn't say anything.

She just kept crying hysterically and screaming. Kwan sat up on the side of the bed and started putting on his shoes fast as he tried to get some sense out of Zoe. "Zoe answer me please. What's going on?" He asked.

Zoe didn't say nothing, yet she kept crying and then she hung the phone up. Kwan didn't like what he heard. He grabbed his keys off the dresser and ran downstairs. Amira was in the kitchen fixing them something to eat and saw Kwan running towards the door.

" Baby where are you going in such a hurry?" Amira asked concerned. "Baby I got to go check on something really quick I will be right back." Kwan said not wanting to tell her where he was going.

"Is there something wrong with the twins?" She asked. "Oh no baby nothing like that. I just need to check this out. Don't worry. I'll be right back ok." Kwan said opening the door.

"No tell me where you are going. This is our honeymoon and you rushing out of here like someone is in trouble. I'm your wife and I need to know right now where you are going?" Amira said putting her hands on her hips.

"Baby please don't do this right now. I got to go. I promise I'll explain everything when I get back." Kwan said trying to get out the door. Amira was not hearing that. "No cause I'm coming with you since you can't tell me." She said cutting off the stove.

"No baby you can't come with me. I don't want nothing to happen to you. Just stay here. I'll be right back." Kwan said leaving and closing the door. All you heard was the car cranking and the tires speeding off.

Kwan drives as fast as he can to make it to Zoe house. When he got there he pulled up in the yard and cut the car off. He ran to the door and turned the door knob to see if the door was unlocked. It was unlocked so he ran in and closed the door behind him.

Kwan called Zoe name through the downstairs. He didn't get a answer back. He heard a noise upstairs in her room so he ran up there and opened the door. He found Zoe on the floor balled up like a baby crying.

He got down on the floor and pulled her to him. "What's wrong Zoe talk to me please." Zoe didn't say anything. She just played her part. She held her stomach and cried her eyes out. Kwan leaned her up and picks her up.

He walked to the bed and got in it with her. "Please baby talk to me please. I'm sorry for how I talked to you. Just answer me please." Kwan said scared out his mind. Zoe cried and said "I think something is wrong with the baby. Ever since I talked to you my stomach has been hurting." Zoe said still crying and holding her stomach.

"Fuck it's my fault. I'm sorry baby please stop crying. I don't want you to loose my baby. I'll do anything just stop crying please." Kwan said. "Just tell me what you want me to do." Kwan pleaded. Zoe looked him in his eyes and said "stay with me tonight." Kwan looked off at the ceiling and realized this is about to be some damn trouble.

It's his honeymoon and this is bad for him. He sighed heavy and said "fuck it yeah I'll stay with you."

This is about to be trouble!!!!
