The Aftermath (Final Series of Deception)

We all rushed to the hospital when we got that call. I pray my son make it through. This is horrible. If he would have listened to me he wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

We went to the waiting room and Jackson came out. I grabbed his coat and said "Jackson man please tell me my son is ok?" Alonzo said. Jackson looked at me and said "have a seat Alonzo.

My heart started beating really fast. I don't know what to think right now. I sat down and Jackson sat next to me. He sighed and grabbed me by the shoulder. "Man this looks bad. I can't even lie." He said.

"By bad what do you mean?" Alonzo asked. "Kwan suffered blunt chest trauma. There is some bleeding that we are trying to stop." Jackson said. Amira screamed out.

"No! Not my baby. Please Jackson you got to save him. I love him. I need him." Amira said as she cried . Zoe looked at her and rolled her eyes. "Really Amira?" She said to her.

Alonzo jumped up and said "don't do this shit now." Zoe looked at him with a attitude. "Who are you to tell me how to act? That's my baby daddy in there fighting for his life."

Amira got in her face and said "bitch that's my fucking husband and the father to my kids. Don't get beside yourself just because he fucked up and got your bitch ass pregnant." Amira said closing the space between them.

"And what you gonna do about it huh? Cause the last time I checked he lived with me and not you." "Bitch please he left my house upset cause I would not let him come home."

"Enough with this shit!" Alonzo said. This can be discussed after this. My son in there trying to fight for his life and you two out here being childish. Now cut it out before I make both of you leave." Alonzo said sternly.

Jackson pulled Alonzo to the side. "Look man I know it's hard for you right now and I get that. But we got to make a decision for Kwan like now. If he don't have this surgery we can loose him."

"Ok let me get Amira over here and we can make a decision. Give me a second aight." Alonzo said walking to Amira. "Baby girl let me talk to you for a second." They walked to the side to themselves.

"Listen, Jackson said we got to do emergency surgery right now to save Kwan. If we waste anymore time we can loose him. I need you to give your consent." Alonzo said with tears in his eyes.

"Yes daddy anything to save my husband." Amira said grabbing the papers from Jackson and signing them. "Do what's needed Jackson. Please save my husband." Amira said giving the papers back.

Jackson took the papers and left the room. Amira walked to the chair and sat down. And then it hit her. "Daddy why is she here? She's not family. And that baby ain't born so we don't know for sure that's his baby."

"I didn't call her. Jackson did." "Why did he do that?" "Well he said being that she was carrying his baby she should be here." "Supposedly his child." Amira said looking at her. "Bitch I heard that. It is his baby." Zoe said.

"You know what I want you gone. I'm calling security and if you are not gone by the time we get back, I will have you thrown out. Now play with me and I'll show you who I really am." Amira said walking out the room bumping Zoe's shoulder.

"I don't have to leave here. I have a right to be here. And I'm not leaving here. I don't care what none of y'all say." Zoe said. Alonzo looked at her and laughed. "Girl you better get your ass out of here. And do it now."

"I don't have to do anything. I'm staying and that's that." Zoe said. Alonzo walked to her and grabbed her arm. "I ain't asking you. I'm telling you. You are not my family and you need to leave NOW!!!" The security came in with Amira.

"Ma'am we need you to come with us." The guy said. "I'm not going anywhere that's my baby daddy and my man in there." Zoe said getting loud. "Correction that's my husband not your man and we don't know if that's his baby." Amira said.

"Now Get your ass out or I'll throw you out myself." Amira said walking towards her. Alonzo grabs her arm and holds her back. "Let them take care of that Amira." The security grabbed her and took her out. "Let's go ma'am." The security said.

The security took her out and closed the door. Zoe put up a fight against them but they got her out. Amira and Alonzo sat there and waited for Jackson to get back with some news.

Hours and hours had passed and still there was no answer back for Kwan yet. Amira had dozed off in the chair. After about another hour Jackson came back in. Alonzo tapped Amira and woke her up.

They stood up and waited for Jackson to start talking. "So what's the deal?" Alonzo asked. "Well we got him stable and the bleeding has been stopped.

We do have him in a induced coma so he can rest and heal. Give us about 45 minutes to get him settled and you can see him."

"Thank God." Amira said as she closed her eyes. Alonzo grabbed her and hugged her. "I'll send someone for you two in a little bit." Jackson said. "Thank you Jackson." Amira said smiling.

The 45 minutes passed and they went to see Kwan. He was hooked to all these tubes. Amira got teary eyed when she saw him. "This is all my fault. All he wanted was to come home." Amira said as the tears fell.

"Baby girl it's not your fault. Kwan should not have left in anger. Don't blame yourself." Alonzo said. "But I do daddy. I should've just let him stayed and this would not have happened."

Amira went and sat next to him. She laid on his chest and cried. "Don't leave me baby. I love you."
