The Aftermath (Final Series of Deception)

Kwan's Room

Jackson went to Kwan's room and took his vitals. He wrote everything on the chart and walked over to Amira who was sound asleep on the sofa bed. He touched her shoulder and woke her up.

"How you doing this morning?" He asked concerned.

"I'm doing well but will be better if my husband will wake up and talk to me."

"I get that and I totally understand. But I do want to talk to you about something."

"Oh and what's that?"

Jackson cleared his throat and sat next to her on the sofa bed.

"Well I had a visitor come see me last night. And she is very concerned about the well being of Kwan."

"And if it was my mother the answer is hell no. She can't come see him."

"Actually she did come and tried to get information and I told her she has to ask you. But that's not who I was referring to."

"Well who was you referring to?"

"Well umm it was Zoe."

"What the hell Jackson? Why would you even talk to her at all?"

"Well I felt sorry for her and she is carrying his child. I felt that she should at least get a peace of mind about him. She said it's making her have issues with the baby. I had to do a ultrasound to make sure she was fine."

"She is fine. She playing you to get to me. I don't want that bitch around my husband no more than  she has to be."

"I get that Amira. But think about this. If I did that with your dad and your mom would you even be where you are today?"

"Oh don't pull that shit with me Jackson. My dad left Melissa and went to my mom. That was a total different situation."

"Now how so? You told him to get out the house and you wanted a divorce. Look I'm not saying to be all nice but I just want to look out for the baby. It's not about her or Kwan. It's about the baby."

"I can give two shits about that baby. I said no and that's that. Now is this all you want to talk about?"

"Well I guess it is. Do you have any questions concerning Kwan?"

"Yes I do actually. What is his status? And is it any way I can take him home and have a nurse come see about him?"

"Wait you want to remove  him from the hospital care?"

"Yes I do. I'm tired of all of you trying to bring people around that I've clearly said no to. At my house I know this will not happen."

"Wow Amira. I didn't know you felt that way. He is able to go home if you want. I will have to submit this and you sign."

"That's fine. Bring me the papers and I will do just that."

Jackson stood  and walked out the room. He went to Zoe and told her to follow him to his office. They walked in and sat down to talk.

"So how did it go? Can I go and see Kwan now?"

"I'm sorry but no you can't. Amira is not allowing you to see him at no circumstances. I recommend to you to just leave it alone and let him get well. If he wants to see you then I will suggest that."

"Why I can't see him? That's my man and my baby daddy. I have a right to see him."

"Well technically they are still married. And she has that say. I can't go over her request for you. I'm so sorry. Just stay calm for the baby's sake. You don't have long to go."

"What am I suppose to do? I need him. My baby needs him."

"Again I'm sorry things are like this for you. But I need you to take care of yourself and the baby."

"Wow so I suppose to just take this?"

Jackson sat back in his seat and sighed. Before he could reply there was a knock on his door.

"Come in." He said.

Alonzo walked in and gave them both a stare.

"What the hell are you doing here Zoe?" Alonzo asked closing the door and walking in.

"I was having issues with the baby so Dr Jackson here did a ultrasound on me and now we having a consultation."

"Jackson is this a bad time?"

"Oh no we was finished talking. Zoe remember what I said. Make sure you do all  you suppose to for the baby."

"I will and thank you again Dr."

"No problem. Take care yourself and I'll see you."

Alonzo watched her leave before he said anything to Jackson. When the door closed and Zoe was fully gone he sat down and and started talking.

"So Amira tells me she wants to move Kwan out the hospital. Is that safe for him at this point?"

"Well we have him in the induced coma. We can wake him and see how he reacts. If he does well it will be fine but if not then I would medically recommend him to stay here a little longer."

"That's what I thought. I tried to explain that to her with me being a doctor but she didn't want to listen. You can't lead her to believe that this is safe. Don't draw those papers."

"Alonzo you know I don't want to. But if that's what she wants I can't stop her. I can give her options. A nurse will be there 24/7 and I will make house calls."

"Why this drastic change? What brought this on?"

"Well she said with him being his she doesn't have to worry about unwanted guest and maybe he will get well soon in a familiar environment."

"Unwanted guest like who?"

Jackson clears his throat and said "Well your wife and Zoe."

"Wow they still at it huh?"

"Yeah man and Zoe is saying she needs to see him. It's causing stress on the baby cause she's worried. And she feels she has the right being that she is pregnant."

"Man this is a big mess. I don't know who is the worse. When I did it or now."

"Alonzo you got to do something man before this blows out of control."

"I know."

This is getting sticky!!!!

Will this blow over or get worse!!!

Amira was ticked off!!!!
