The Aftermath (Final Series of Deception)

Kwan's Thoughts

As I got my motel room I brought my stuff in and sat on the side on the bed. I couldn't believe how this happened. I love my wife and want nothing more to be with her. But my choices got me here. Sitting in the motel all alone. It broke me to leave my house today. I saw where Zoe called and texted me. I didn't even answer the phone. This is the reason why I'm in this now. I'm so confused by this man. Kwan laid back on the bed and put his hands under his head. As he laid there his cell rung again.

He looked at the caller id to see that it was his dad. Kwan just sat there and looked and didn't answer. The phone rings again. Kwan saw it was Alonzo again. This time he answered it. "Dad right now is not the time for all your lectures aight." Kwan said before Alonzo could say anything. "That's not why I'm calling son." Alonzo said. "Then why are you calling?" Kwan asked. "Son are you sitting down?" Alonzo said. "Dad just spit it out. What's going on?" Kwan asked concerned. "Well Jalisha was in the shower and her cell rings." He started.

"Well it was Zoe. She told me some disturbing things on the phone." Alonzo continues. "And what's that?" Kwan asked. "Well seems that they have been teaming up to break you and Amira up. She told me the entire plan." Alonzo confesses.

Kwan sat up in bed. "What? Are you playing with me right now?" Kwan asked pissed. "I wish I was but no I'm not. I knew something was off when she kept being all mean and nasty with y'all." Alonzo said. "See that's what I'm saying. She may be the reason that pushed Amira to put me out." Kwan said.

"Now hold on now Kwan. That is not all on them. You made some decisions that caused this too. Don't leave what you did out." Alonzo said quickly. "I'm not saying what I did didn't push too but I'm saying it's more to this mess." Kwan said.

"Well I kicked Jalisha out the room but more will be done too. I can't stand how she's become. When I first met her she was the sweetest now I can't hardly stomach her." Alonzo said. "So what you gonna do about it?" Kwan asked.

"Well I don't know yet but just know it's not going on without me dealing with it." Alonzo said. "And I'm gonna check Zoe about this shit too." Kwan said pissed. "Well I just wanted you to know what was going on. Where are you anyway?" Alonzo asked concerned about him.

"Well I got a motel for now. I'm gonna see about me a place tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Especially since I don't know how long Amira is gonna keep this up." Kwan said. "Look you know you can always come home if you need to." Alonzo said.

"Yeah I know dad but I think I should do this on my own. I don't want to depend on you and make things harder for me. So I'm just gonna do this my way." Kwan said. "Alright son but as I said you know I will not let you drown in this. The house is always open for you." Alonzo said. "Appreciate that dad. But let me go aight." Kwan said pissed off. "Ok son call me if you need me and I love you." "Love you too dad." Kwan said hanging the phone up.

Kwan got up and put his shoes back on. He grabbed his keys and walked out the motel room. As he got to the car his cell rings. "Hello." "Kwan this Zoe why haven't you been answering my calls or texts?" "You got some damn nerve. I'm on my way over there." Kwan said hanging the phone up in her face. He drove over there pissed. He was driving a little faster than usual. As he pulled up in the yard Zoe opened the door. Kwan walked up to her and pushed her in the house and closed the door.

"What the hell are you doing? So you teaming up with Jalisha ass now?" Kwan asked. "Wait what are you talking about Kwan?" Zoe said trying to play dumb. "Cut the shit you know exactly what I'm talking about. My dad just told me everything." Kwan snapped. "Wait your dad?" Zoe asked confused. "You heard what I said my dad. So this was your plan all along huh?" Kwan asked grabbing her arm. "No baby it's not my plan. She's been blackmailing me to do this stuff. I had to do it or she was gonna ruin me with you." She explained.

"So you telling me she was forcing you to do this stuff? And you really think I believe this?" Kwan said looking at her. "Baby I'm telling the truth. I wouldn't lie to you. I know you and Amira not together. How would I know that?" Zoe said trying to beg her case. Kwan looked at her and said "who told you that?" "I'm telling you Jalisha did. She called me when you got married and told me to call you at a certain time so get you over here. She doesn't want you with her daughter." Zoe admitted.

Kwan punched the wall and screamed out. "Damn her!!!" Zoe walked closer to him and put her arms around his neck. Baby I love you and I don't want to see you hurt. Come move in with me. We can be a family. You just got married so you can file a divorce and be with me. "Are you crazy Zoe?" Kwan asked. "I love my wife and I'm gonna get her back." He said removing her arms from him. "And you said you loved me too. Don't that count for something?" Zoe said as tears started falling down her cheeks.

Kwan just looked at her and pulled her in for a hug. "I'm sorry Zoe I don't mean to hurt you. I do love you but I'm in love with my wife. And that is not gonna change." Zoe pulled away from him and ran to her room and slammed the door. Kwan ran his hands down his face and said "damn this is a mess."

What Kwan gonna do???
