"So what are we going to do now?", Timon asked, sitting atop Pumbaa's head.

"Well, the war is now. Whether we're ready for it or not it's happening", Kiara added.

"It's all of us versus the entire Outlands", Kion said more to himself to anyone else.

"Tch. The Outlands. All they want is to take over our land and make life worse for everyone else. Outlanders are the worse", Bunga huffed, crossing his arms. "Oh, uh. No offense", he quickly said to Kovu.

"None taken", Kovu sighed, expecting something like that to happen sooner or later.

"Enough of that. You're father is about to rally the Pride Lands for battle", Nala told them. While Simba was out telling the Pride Landers that the Outlands was on their way. The group returned from Simba and Kion's conversation and sat among one another. They weren't to far away from everyone else in case something happens. The reason they were all there was because Nala wanted a bit of time to compose herself and decided to bring her cubs along with Timon and Pumbaa. Everyone was on edge with the war about to start and the whole spectacle of hidden relationships.

Nala looked at her two children with the ones they loved. Both were composed of two who fell in love despite what might happen. Kiara and Kovu was something unexpected. Honestly she did not have complete trust in Kovu, but she could see and feel the love between them. She only hoped the Simba would give Kovu more opportunity to show that he's alright. She honestly felt sad for Kovu. He has willing decided to go against his home and fight against everyone he knows, even his own family. She couldn't imagine what he must fell about it all. The poor lion had to choose between everything he's known or the lioness he loved. That's how she knew that Kovu truly loved her daughter. Most if not any creature would forsake everything: his home, his friends, his family all for for one. For love. She had confidence that even though he is the son of Scar that he was nothing like him. She only hoped that he could stay strong fighting against his family.

She also looked to her son, Kion. His relationship with Bunga especially reminded the lioness of her childhood times spent with Simba. Play-fighting, getting into trouble and overtime their relationship developing into something more. She couldn't help but smile watching the badger staying close to her son. The idea of a honey badger being the defender of a lion was ridiculous and warmed her heart at the same time. Honey badgers are known to be the most fearless and aggressive animals on the savanna which she could see from time to time In Bunga, especially as he got older. As a cub he was never one to think things through and would often jump into dangerous situations. But as he grew older alongside Kion he definitively matured. Bunga was much more attentive and thoughtful about his actions and he even had a more aggressive streak in him, most seen when Outlanders are involved. But still Bunga was 1/3 the size and height of Kion. Well, if anyone could defend her son it would be Bunga.

She looked at Kion, Kiara and Bunga. She watched all three of them grow up and change over the years. Now it seemed like it was leading up to this. Her daughter Kiara, the princess and future queen of the Pride Lands who fell in love with an Outland lion. And her son Kion, the leader of the Lion Guard who fell in love with his best friend, the bravest in the Pride Lands. She knew that she had nothing to worry about.

"Today is the day that we defend the future of our land. We must not fail and allow a repeat of the devastation all those years ago!", SImba rallied to the many animals. They all cheered and bellowed, prepared to go into battle.

Nala was about to bring them all to join the ranks when a series of roars echoed across the skies.

"Its happening!", Nala alerted everyone else.

"Alright nobody panic! All we gotta do is just get with the others!", Timon suggested.

"That's.....Actually exactly what we need to do", Nala said in surprise, expecting Timon to say something rather silly.
