Simba and Nala had spent the rest of the day helping things get back into order. There was a lot to do now. Kovu and Kiara helped accommodate for the new animals who would be living in the Pride Lands while Kion, Bunga and the Lion Guard helped out with animals finding places of their own to live in.

"Whew. I think that the last of them", Kion huffed, feeling a bit strained.

"Thank goodness", Fuli chirped. "I've been running around looking for 'the perfect den', 'the perfect cave', 'the perfect tree'. Who knew Outlanders could be so picky?"

"Former Outlanders", Ono corrected, earning nothing but an eye roll from Fuli.

"I'm just glad we were able to find them good homes", Beshte said hopefully.

"Big B's right. Sure it took longer than expected, but we did a good thing", Bunga assured.

"Well, I guess it's time we head on back", Kion yawned. He was more than ready to return to Pride Rock and take a quick nap.

"Right behind you", Beshte chuckled as he and the other Guard members followed after Kion.

Bunga and Kion returned to Pride Rock, the others had gone their respective ways for the rest of the day.

"There he is!"

"Get him!"

Before either Kion or Bunga could properly take in what was happening three masses of fur leaped onto Bunga. Kion was stunned but quickly relaxed when he realized who they were.

"Hey, you guys", Kion greeted. "Mkali, Jino, Muinuko!"

"Alright, boys. Let him up", Mkali commanded, standing up and dusting himself off.

Jino and Muinuko did just so, chuckling as Bunga lay there on the ground.

"I missed you guys, too", Bunga wheezed, slowly getting up. "But could you guys warn me next time?"

"Ah, we just wanted to give you a little something to remember us by", Mkali snorted.

"Yeah, this place is great and all but it's time for us to hightail it back home", Muinuko grinned slightly.

"Try not to miss us too much until we come back!", Jino squeaked.

"Thanks for the help back there", Bunga said, extending his paw.

"It was nothing, I say us honey badgers have to start sticking together", Mkali gave a toothy smile, shaking Bunga's paw. "Speaking of which, come on boys, we're setting a course for home."

"Alright, let's do this again sometime", Muinuko waved goodbye as he followed Mkali.

"Yeah, make sure to let us know the next time you kick someone's butt!", Jino suggested. He ran after his older brothers who were gaining some distance from him.

"See ya!", Bunga called after them.

Nearing sunset, Kion and Bunga returned to the cave of Pride Rock where the other lions where all gathered. It was amazing to see so many lions gathered in the Rock as they had so long ago. Together stood Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, VItani, Nuka, Kopa, Kion and Bunga all discussing what to do next for the Pride Lands.

"I'm glad that we're all together once again", Simba smiled.

"Yes, all of us", Kiara sighed, nuzzling close to Kovu.

"What do we all do from now on?", Kovu asked. "Now that there's no fighting or anything."

"Well, there is still much to do? Isn't there?", Vitani asked. "I mean, Kopa, didn't you want to 'restore' the Outlands?"
